I’ve been saying this. What happened to the excitement people used to have for signings like Sancho, Ugarte and Antony? Football changes fast. I’m not going to criticise a player before he’s even kicked a ball. If he underperforms, fair enough then the criticism is deserved. But for now, all we can do is wait and hope the new signing hits the ground running.

Everyone is sucking up to the board now, for what? For likes or for access, I don’t get it. Ederson being our first signing is not exactly relaxing and knowing how the board has always shortchanged the squad every time we are close to being stable again. No serious club that wants to dominate in the coming years will start with Ederson. Terrible posturing

Does it matter where we start or what deal is available to be done first, I’m not sure what you want tbh. Ederson is a good player but he’s not our main midfield target but that doesn’t mean United won’t do the deal when it’s Available to them. OG this isn’t rocket science

I personally haven’t spoken negatively about Ederson even though I don’t rate him but I understand people who do. Even the board would even expect this reaction but luckily they have fans like you, someone failed to make NT call up and the next week you make it your first summer signing. Should we be clapping? Even if you plan to sign the avengers later, it can be done better

Failed to make national team call up is now a criteria for signing players? Since when did that happen please, so if someone goes in for joao pedro they’ll refuse to sign him because he didn’t make the national team for the World Cup? Bro well it’s your anger so use it as you like, I’ll give the guy a benefit of the doubt if he fails to perform then I can fully call him out and I have no reason to call out a board who has done 4/4 incredible signings yet until they give me a reason.

I already said I have no personal issues with the player. Then with the board, there has been a sad pattern of doing underwhelming business whenever we are close to being stable again and I see it here, many see it and it’s why they’re expressing their frustrations. If we can sign Ederson this early then we could have equally signed other key targets. I’ll come back to this in the coming months
