The “Mbinga” phenomenon in our country is counterproductive and goes against the principles of hard work and integrity that are so central to the fight against corruption. Our young people must never strive to be a “Chivhayo” but must work hard and uphold integrity values as they pursue their endeavors! The dishing out of cars like confetti at a wedding is regrettable and serves to fuel negative values in our society. I rose on a Point of National Interest today in Parliament to raise these issues and to call upon the House to expedite the enactment of the Whistleblowers Act. #InternationalAntiCorruptionDay #CorruptionIsKillingUs

A fundamental misunderstanding of how Christianity relates to morals and values. She seems to think Christianity just super charges these conservative values when in reality Christianity is the very foundation for the values in the first place. Christianity doesn't just come in and intensify the values it is the whole foundation for them in the first place. She says you can be an atheist and believe everything we believe....except the part about God, Jesus and the scriptures. Ummm that is the very foundation for the other beliefs. This is just bad. This "big tent" conservative movement is turning into a "big tent" ecumenical movement.
