What the FUCK, Canada? 😡 Prime Minister Mark Carney just dropped ANOTHER $2 BILLION in military aid to Ukraine today—on the 4th anniversary of Russia’s invasion. That’s right, $2,000,000,000 straight from our pockets while Canadians are drowning in debt! And get this: since 2022, we’ve funneled over $25.5 BILLION in total aid to Ukraine, including $8.5B in weapons alone. 11 How much for struggling Canadians at home? ZILCH. ZERO. NADA. Meanwhile, our economy is in the shitter: Unemployment just hit 6.5% in January, with 24,800 jobs vanishing into thin air. 20 Businesses are fleeing faster than rats off a sinking ship—thousands of restaurants predicted to shut down this year, and a tidal wave of small biz owners retiring, leaving $300B in revenue up for grabs (or gone). Auto manufacturing? Poof—jobs evaporating quicker than a Groundhog Day shadow. Our GDP growth is lagging the G7, with per capita output basically flatlining while inflation eats our savings. But hey, Liberals love splashing cash on BS abroad! Remember that $850,000 we blew on an anti-pooping campaign in Ghana? Billboards literally telling people “don’t shit on the beach.” WTF is that?! Or the HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS still pouring into “gendered” foreign aid—like $1.73B locked in for “gender-just rice” in Vietnam and “gender-inclusive demining” in Ukraine until 2033. Zero return for us, while families lose homes, our debt skyrockets, and our grandkids’ grandkids will STILL be paying this off! Canada is HURTING. We’ve FALLEN. Enough already—time to put CANADIANS FIRST!. #WhatTheFuckCanada #LiberalWaste #CanadaFirst #StopTheSpending #CarneyOut 🇨🇦🔥

Zack Polanski, "I often say we live in rip off Britain" "A country where wages have stalled, rents have risen, and bills are out of control" "We're not a poor country, we have so many riches" "But we're paying a high price for a low standard of living" "But it's not just our bills and our wages where we're being ripped off, it's the very world around us that is being robbed from us" "Just as the biggest corporations are taking money from those who can least afford it" "They're extracting value from our natural world" "None of this is an accident" "Those choices which have felled our trees, poured pesticides in our fields, and polluted our rivers, those choices have authors" "But they can be reversed" "We're at a turning point" "If we get this right we can change the way we feel about this planet of ours" "We connect with people and places around us in a new way" "We find a love for our place, not based on narrow nationalism nor race, nor migration status, but on the roots that run much deeper than all of those things, the roots that unite us" "Because twice in the past six years we've been starkly reminded how vulnerable our planet is" "Just a few years ago a deadly virus ripped through the population.. The way many of us clung to our well being were the daily walks around the park" "And this summer when the heat grew unbearable. Burning our skin, muddying our thoughts, often the only reprieve was the shade of a tree, or the cooling waters of a river or a sea" "And both the pandemic and this summer's extreme temperatures brought into stark relief what it means to have access to nature"

Noam Chomsky on Why Our Limits Are the Foundation of Our Freedom Noam Chomsky flips a common intuition on its head: In a 1977 interview with Bryan Magee for the BBC series Men of Ideas, Chomsky is confronted with what his interviewer calls an "alarming" consequence of his theories. The idea that humans are, as Magee puts it, "very very rigidly pre-programmed." There are certain things we can understand, certain things we can communicate, "and anything that falls outside that we simply can't." Chomsky agrees with the premise. But not the alarm. "That's certainly correct," he says of the rigid pre-programming. What he pushes back on is the reaction to it: "While it's true that our genetic program rigidly constrains us, I think the more important point is that the existence of that rigid constraint is what provides the basis for our freedom and creativity." The interviewer, caught off guard, asks him to clarify. Does he really mean it's only because we're pre-programmed that we can do all the things we can do? "Exactly," Chomsky replies. Then he delivers the core of the argument: "If we really were plastic organisms without an extensive pre-programming, then the state that our mind achieves would in fact be a reflection of the environment." In other words: a mind without built-in structure wouldn't be a free mind but a mirror. It would simply take the shape of whatever surrounded it. Freedom and creativity require something internal doing the shaping, pushing back, generating. The constraints aren't the opposite of freedom. They're the precondition for it.

🐈‍⬛ when it comes to the relationship between an artist and their fans, i don't think it has to be burning brightly all the time. i mean, of course fans love us and we love them too, but i don't think those feelings need to be at their peak every single day. realistically, everyone gets busy. 🐈‍⬛ onedoor has their own life to live, and then when we make a comeback, they can come back and find us again. that doesn't mean they've left. they just have their own lives for a while. that's how it sounded to me, and honestly it made me think, this is such a healthy relationship. that's why it really resonated with me. 🐱 even for us, just living through a single year, there are so many moments where we are tired, bored, laughing one moment and crying the next, worrying about things and getting stressed. onedoor goes through those same emotions while living their lives too. 🐱 but in the end, onedoor waits for us because they believe we'll return with music and stand on stage again someday. and we live our lives believing that no matter how long it takes, onedoor will come back to see us perform. i hope these periods of time continue piling up until we have built records and memories that no one else can ever replicate. 🐶 if something is only hot all the time, i think those feelings tend to burn out faster. really intense emotions fade more quickly. when it's time to be passionate, we are passionate. but why do people adjust the heat when cooking? sometimes it's high heat, sometimes you lower it to medium heat. i think it's nice to think of it that way. maintaining a healthy relationship with onedoor. 🐶 and when onedoor is off living their everyday lives or focusing on something else for a while, our role is to keep making music that will still be there for us to share together. we really love you all ♡ 🏠 🫶💕🩷

The first footage of wolves eating raspberries to our knowledge! We captured this footage last summer when the Bug Creek Pack pups spent a good while foraging for berries in this patch. Of course, we have known for a while wolves eat raspberries as we have sifted through many scats full of raspberry seeds. However, we’ve never observed the behavior before. Just a few months ago, before we were aware we captured this footage, we actually published a scientific paper on the “berry-eating” behavior of wolves. The big takeaway from our study (link to study below!): based on our data, wolves foraging on berries in our area is an extremely widespread behavior and one that almost every wolf we have studied engages in when berries are abundant. We have captured trail camera footage of wolves of all ages, sexes, and social statuses (i.e., breeding or subordinate wolf) from several packs foraging on berries. All of this indicates “berry-eating” by wolves is likely pervasive across large portions of southern boreal ecosystems in places like Minnesota, Michigan, Wisconsin, Ontario, Manitoba and Quebec. However, given the lack of summer research on the foraging ecology of wolves in these areas, we think this behavior has just gone unnoticed. Although, there is evidence based on scats collected in these areas that wolves are foraging on berries. Now, it is important to understand why wolves eat berries and to not misconstrue this finding with the notion that wolves eat berries because they prefer berries over animal prey. Wolves do not have digestive systems that are meant to digest plant matter and berries effectively. Thus, berries are almost certainly "starvation food" for wolves; as in, the wolves are starving and berries are the best option given the circumstances to stave off hunger and slow weight loss. All this to say, wolves are not eating berries instead of other animals because they prefer berries over meat. We have no doubt that if a wolf had an option between a meal of berries or of deer/ beaver that it would choose the latter every single time. Catching deer and beavers, wolves primary summer prey, is extremely challenging for wolves in late summer, and likely requires extensive energy expenditure. Thus, instead of spending substantial energy hunting prey they likely cannot catch, wolves turn to berries, which are abundant, taste good, and likely make them feel full. In other words, all evidence suggests wolves are just eating berries to slow starvation and weight loss. Read our recent study on the “berry-eating” behavior of wolves for free here:

youngjae shares the behind the scene or the reason why his eyes were so red after he got emotional winning first at inkigayo (🐶 reading a comment) 🐶: why my eyes are red? ah there’s really a lot i could say about that. honestly, during the second week of inkigayo promotions, our schedule was insanely tough from the very first week. thankfully, we got to promote both the title track and ‘ATP.’ of course, we couldn’t perform ‘ATP’ on mubank, but on mcountdown we performed both ‘ATP’ and the title track. then for mubank too, we had both the title track and all the second-week stages. since our schedule that second week was basically impossible to manage while staying in korea, we had to pre-record everything for the second week too mubank - inkigayo all of it. we’d be doing title-track pre-recordings at dawn, then pre-recordings or live broadcasts for ‘ATP’ too. after finishing second-week music show schedules, we’d immediately move on to filming even more second-week content. before the comeback, with the members we talked a lot about the schedule. we kept saying, ‘this schedule really doesn’t seem like it’s going to be easy.’ not just for us either, we thought the fans coming to pre-recordings would also be physically exhausted. we kept wondering, ‘will everyone really be okay?’ we talked about things like that a lot. but somehow we got through all of it. while we were in japan for kcon, we were also performing at the k-style party, and thankfully we even got first place (in mubank) while we're in japan too. i’m really, really grateful for that. then right after k-style ended, we flew straight back from 🇯🇵 to 🇰🇷, rested a little at the dorm and then shinyu hyung immediately went off to prepare for his mc schedule while the rest of us got ready for the live broadcast too. honestly, during mubank, it’s not that i necessarily want people to recognize how hard things were. but every time we won first place, i always ended up talking about this, our fans work so hard behind the scenes. streaming, voting… they really give it everything. quietly and steadily, just so they can see us win first place. watching 42s pour all their time and energy into that for us makes me feel so thankful and grateful, but also honestly really sorry too. so while all the exhaustion from the first week was passing by, i kept remembering how hard the fans worked voting and streaming, how hard the members worked together and how much everyone suffered through it. i also kept thinking about the staff members constantly running around backstage, barely sleeping, barely eating, staying with us through pre-recordings and everything. seeing all that made me realize that first place isn’t just ‘first place.’ i mean, people call it a win, but inside that one word are countless hours, countless people’s sweat, effort, and hard work all packed into it. that’s really what it felt like to me this time. especially on inkigayo, for some reason, i felt that even more strongly. so during these promotions, we really carried this sense of responsibility and pressure that we had to do even better while preparing for our official comeback with ‘overdrive’ too. because of that, so many thoughts were passing through my mind while we were singing the encore. but honestly, even before we went up for the encore stage, suddenly i got extremely nervous. all the artists were standing by there waiting, and out of nowhere i started shaking. i kept telling the members, ‘i’m so nervous.’ then we went up, did the encore stage for everyone there and prepared for the live broadcast results announcement. the moment they revealed the live voting results, i suddenly felt really strange. i kept thinking, ‘can we really win first place?’ somehow, while we were waiting in the waiting room, i had this feeling that today might be our last chance to win during the ‘You You’ promotions.+ #TWS #투어스 #영재 #YOUNGJAE

Zack Polanski, “We often talk about water companies, because they are literally pouring sewage, as you all know, into our rivers and seas. They’re allowing billions of litres of water a day to leak out of pipes that haven’t seen a penny of investment, and they’re selling off reservoirs while we’re facing a drought.” “We have handed our most precious and vital resource to private companies, and somehow hoped that they’ll act in our best interests. But why would they, when presiding over decline and failure has seen them rake in astonishing profits?” “Since privatisation, shareholders of the water and sewage corporations have been handed £85.2 billion. And how much have they invested? Less than nothing.” “This is the ultimate rip-off: handing over billions to companies who are putting us at risk of water shortages. And as Thames Water faces yet another financial catastrophe driven by greed, it is time for the Labour government to step up and make good on the promises that Andy Burnham made: to bring water not under some vague, hand-waving public control…” “…but into full public ownership, so that every single penny we pay in bills goes towards protecting our water security now and in the future. Because nature in the UK is in freefall, and private companies have been driving this destruction and, as I’ve said, they’re cashing in on the results.” “And it’s a familiar story, because it’s exactly the same as the climate chaos caused by the fossil fuel industry. Company profits pile up, while communities — our communities — are left to absorb the environmental degradation. Enough is enough.” “We must back the people who are on the frontline of defending our land and nature, and securing our precious natural resources: the farmers who right now are watching their crops fail through drought and flooding, their costs soaring, and they’re wondering how they’re even going to make it through another season.” “Meanwhile, the corporations have captured the supply chain above them: the agrochemical companies, the big supermarkets, the processors. While the farmers are struggling, they are all profiting.” “We can turn this around: fund farmers to work in harmony with the natural world, to repair, rebuild, revitalise and restore the proper working of our ecosystems. And crucially, we need to get bolder about making the big companies piling up profits pay their fair share to fund it.” “If we get this right, we secure our food supply and give farmers their livelihood back. We can restore our woodlands, our streams, our fields; hear birds sing and bees buzz again; see those hedgehogs in our back gardens.” “But if we get this wrong, the consequences are so stark.”

260404 NEW_ ENCORE D1 ENDING MENT #승관 #SEUNGKWAN 🍊 honestly earlier when vernon’s opening part of circles came on.. as i was listening to the lyrics, those two lines really hit me so i was lost in thought for a moment. vernon mentioned those lyrics too. yea idk… while we were performing, there are times when we struggle and get burnt out. there are times we get tired. but even so, i think i’ve been trying my best to overcome those thoughts in a positive way. and bc of that, i feel really proud that our members have been able to keep going together until now. i also really want to sincerely say thank you so much for being with us during all that time. this is such a big thing to be so grateful for. even though it’s already our 12th year and earlier we were talking about this industry and stuff, being able to receive this much love for such a long time is really something im so thankful for. i think it makes us work hard to repay that gratitude. but physically, there are times when we can’t help but show carats sides of us that feel a little lacking, right? that could be true for the members too and maybe i myself might have shown you something lacking as well.. but i hope you know it was all bc we really wanted to do our best. i hope you know that if it weren’t for carats, i really wouldn’t have been able to hold on until now. i really hope you know that.. even though you don’t just… that’s how it was and i’m so thankful. i really really love you so much, our carats. carats, do you love me too? 💎 YEEEES 🍊 ☺️ i’m really so thankful. i have a lot to say but i’ll stop here since there’s tomorrow too. carats who came today, thank you so much! make sure not to catch cold and sleep warmly~ i love you!

President Trump just nominated Dr. Casey Means as Surgeon General! 🔥 This is a HUGE win for MAHA. Watch Dr. Means EXPOSE the corruption of our healthcare system last year: “I took zero nutrition courses in medical school.” “I learned virtually nothing at Stanford Medical School about the tens of thousands of scientific papers that elucidate the root causes of why American health is plummeting.” “I did not learn that for each additional serving of ultra-processed food we eat, early mortality increases by 18%.” “I didn’t learn that 82% of independently-funded studies show harm from processed food, while 93% of industry-sponsored studies reflect no harm.” “I didn’t learn that 95% of the people who created the recent USDA food guidelines for America had significant conflicts of interest with the food industry.” “I did not learn that one billion pounds of synthetic pesticides are being sprayed on our foods every single year.” “99% of the farmland in the United States is sprayed with synthetic pesticides … and these invisible, tasteless chemicals are strongly linked to autism, ADHD, sex hormone disruption, thyroid disease, sperm dysfunction, Alzheimer’s, dementia, birth defects, cancer, obesity, liver dysfunction, female infertility and more.” “I did not learn that the 8 billion tons of plastic that have been produced just in the last 100 years … are being broken down into microplastics that are now filling our food, our water, and we are now even inhaling them in our air, and that very recent research … tells us that now about 0.5% of our brains by weight are plastic.” “I didn’t learn that there are more than 80,000 toxins that have entered our food, water, air, and homes by industry, many of which are banned in Europe, and they are known to alter our gene expression, alter our microbiome composition and the lining of our gut, and disrupt our hormones.” “I didn’t learn that heavy metals like aluminum and lead are present in our food, our baby formula, personal care products, our soil, and many of the mandated medications like vaccines, and that these metals are neurotoxic and inflammatory.” “I didn’t learn that the average American walks a paltry 3,500 steps per day even though we know, based on science and top journals, that simply walking 7,000 steps a day slashes by 40-60% our risk of Alzheimer’s, dementia, type 2 diabetes, cancer, and obesity.” “I certainly did not learn that medical error and medications are the third-leading cause of death in the US.” “I didn’t learn that just five nights of sleep deprivation can induce full-blown pre-diabetes. I learned nothing about sleep, and we’re getting about 20% less sleep on average than we were 100 years ago.” “I didn’t learn that American children are getting less time outdoors now than a maximum security prisoner, and on average, adults spend 93% of their time indoors, even though we know from the science that separation from sunlight destroys our circadian biology, and circadian biology dictated our cellular biology.” “I didn’t learn that professional organizations that we get out practice guidelines from, like the American Diabetes Association and the American Academy of Pediatrics, have taken tens of millions of dollars from Coke, Cadbury, processed food companies and vaccine manufacturers like Moderna.” “I didn’t learn that if you address these root causes that all lead to metabolic dysfunction and help patients change their food and lifestyle patterns … we could reverse the chronic disease crisis in America, save millions of lives and trillions of dollars in healthcare costs per year.” “This is a spiritual crisis. We are choosing death over life, we are choosing darkness over light.” “We need a return to courage. We need a return to common sense and intuition. We need a return to awe for the sheer miraculousness of our lives.” “We need all hands on deck.” Casey Means, MD
