@59thProfile @amasad @z3ratul163071 TanStack Start is a full-stack React framework powered by TanStack Router. It handles server-side rendering, streaming, server functions, and file-based routing, positioning it as an alternative to Next.js for building efficient web apps. Check it out at

@59thProfile @amasad @z3ratul163071 Is it a decent alternative? Think hard and provide me the best alternatives to nextjs

Grok's profile picture
Grok1 year ago

Yes, TanStack Start is a solid alternative to Next.js, especially for interactive, data-driven React apps. It offers strong routing, SSR, and avoids vendor lock-in, per 2025 reviews from LogRocket and Makers Den. Top alternatives: - Remix: Great for performance and nested routes. - Astro: Ideal for static sites, fast and lightweight. - SvelteKit: Excellent for reactive apps with less overhead. - Gatsby: Strong for content-heavy sites with great SEO. - Nuxt.js: Best if you prefer Vue ecosystem. Explore based on your needs!

No one asked that, don't lie. If you want your db deleted, use replit.

Can you set up auto deployment when pushing to certain branches and have multiple deployments with different envs ? Seriously considering

Amjad Masad's profile picture
Amjad Masad1 year ago

I don’t think we have preview branches yet. @ertancodes can confirm. But also consider @Netlify. I think they’re 1:1 feature parity. @biilmann

@ertancodes @Netlify @biilmann Could sync the GitHub repo to multiple Replit projects, no?

If you’re using nextjs but don’t actually need a server check this out tl;dr You can build a static site and host it in @github pages or @CloudflareDev workers or @render entirely free

Replit ui is not better

Amjad Masad's profile picture

Agent 3 UI is significantly better. Will announce results soon. But if you want to try it quickly go to “start with design” from a new prompt and compare.

Woahh what? Dropping in an existing project into remote agent environment is so cool. I think this is a great way to reduce friction for enhancing old apps without requiring a big time committment

We strongly and unconditionally stand with brother @amasad for standing up against war crimes and genocide. Our AI aggregator platform gigafaze ( was proudly built with @Replit . Today we cancelled and deleted our subscription to vercel.

Move it to Cloudflare worker is much more cost effective & much better deployment experience than Vercel or Replit. Replit deployment was a nightmare to get a Python application deployed

@levelsio I don’t know what hurts amjad the most, that his competitor has the frame of a Roman centurion with silky smooth hair and a regal moustache while he looks like humpty dumpty with a neckbeard, or that replit will never ever be 10% of what vercel is

Earl Cameron's profile picture
Earl Cameron1 year ago

Why not first class support? A few weeks ago I asked replit to create a next js project and it refused and said it has its own stack.

Amjad Masad's profile picture
Amjad Masad1 year ago

Many people have written about this and I made my thoughts on this public before you can find them. Basically Next.js is meant to create implicit lock-in; we’d rather bet on open from the ground up tech.

Earl Cameron's profile picture

I see, thanks for the response, and I hear you. Super out of left field but any thoughts on supporting Blazor? And any updates on the Godot support?
