@SpiricocoNg First of all God didn't sent persecution to the disciples to spread the Gospel. Persecution came to limit the spread of the gospel. So therefore, the premise for every other you said is absolutely wrong.

@SpiricocoNg By definition, gospel music is meant for a specific audience. As long as your music is gospel, it comes with that yoke/limitation. In trying to expand its scope to include audiences outside of the faith, you will find out sooner or later that you have diluted it's purpose.

@SpiricocoNg Be making music to the people outside and you get lost in the process. Your music is to edify God according to the scripture. It’s maintaining the standard that will make the unbelievers come to the fold, not you relaxing your standard because you want them to come.

@SpiricocoNg We will keep fighting this battle every 2 business days Gospel music has one duty, to talk about salvation, the resurrection, and God in the believer. Make it fast, slow, rock, apala, or fuji, but the message must be about the resurrected Christ. Any other thing is NOT gospel

@SpiricocoNg Worship and praise songs are meant to be inspired by the holyspirt. The purpose is to worship and praise God. It is for God not man. If you want people to convert, preach the word and live right. Let your life reflect what they aspire if they convert. Don't dilute it!!!!!

Who said music is for spreading the gospel in the first place, we preach/teach the gospel (Matt 28 vs 19-20) What we know as music today has always been an expression of praise & worship even when Lucifer was chief musician. Music in a Christian context has always been for praise & worship. This idea is replacing evangelism & discipleship with music is off and not biblical. We have seen music bring the power of God down, creating an atmosphere for God to speak (2 Kings 3:15)
