Many people do not know the history of the Shah’s battle against corrupt mullahs to modernize Iran, and the Islamosocialist alliance that led to the rise of the Islamic Regime. But Iranians remember, and we’ve been seeing this same playbook in the West. “Before the [Shah’s] reforms, much of the land was owned by the mullahs. They never forgave the Shah. Once condemned as corrupt, now purified by relative poverty, the mullahs found it easy to attract followers… Even in the progressive atmosphere of universities, girls exchanged their traditional blue jeans for the veil and prayed before going into the streets.”

Iran was once a burgeoning country ready to join the ranks of other modern countries until progressive ideas from the MSM and Western politicians helped to create a revolution deposing the Shah Of Iran and ushering in a dark age of Islamic fundamentalism. Today we see that the people of Iran are ready to break free of the shackles of oppression and fight for their freedom, but the media is little help.
