The homes in the Pacific Palisades that burned down were homes that were passed down from family member to family member This means those homes were on old tax rates from the 70’s or early. Now that the homes burned down and the lots are being sold, all the homes will be subject to the current property tax rates I looked it up and found this is estimated to bring in an additional $400 million dollars in tax revenue per year to Los Angeles Democrats This is billions and billions of dollars in new revenue they wouldn’t have before….
