It is not excessive? Because why is he resisting the police? Fighting with the police and disrespecting the police. The police have the hardest job on earth. They have to deal with people just like him every day. And they never know that the next one might pull out a gun or a knife and kill them. So they can't play handsy- pansy like Mary Poppins. For their safety, the police must always act strong in the face of threats of violance and resistance.

I think they should have used MORE force !!! If I am being arrested and I struggle/resist I expect them to use force to ensure I comply. Never been arrested nor beaten by cops.
