A Semiconductor company was planning to invest in Karnataka. They were told by the Union Govt that if they want incentives, they shouldn't invest in 'Enemy States' according to a Karnataka Minister. Usually 'Enemy States' is a term used for enemy countries, but now it is used to address non-BJP ruled states. Modi Govt is weaponizing Central Schemes to promote investments to Gujarat and only Gujarat! Union Govt is supposed to be impartial, but even Maharashtra which is a BJP ruled state is also considered an enemy state. We are not against Gujarat's development. But India is not just Gujarat and Gujarat is not entire India. When a new Govt comes in the centre and if all projects are taking to another state, how will people of Gujarat feel? It is the same feeling that rest of India is having. States like Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, and Telangana have invested in technology, talent and created an ecosystem in semiconductor and other technology area over several decades. In the Karnataka Assembly, I spoke on the persistent neglect of North Karnataka, a region that has been ignored despite 75 years of Karnataka’s formation. Our state was born from the struggles of our people, fighting against the British and the then Congress government in the Centre, with Dharwad as the hub of the unification movement. We united with the hope of development, yet today, North Karnataka is treated like it isn’t part of Karnataka. The Nanjundappa Committee report remains a testament to this inequality. In agriculture, education, healthcare, tourism, and more, the focus has been on South Karnataka, leaving North Karnataka far behind. District-wise income data shows that the best-performing districts are all in the south, while the worst-performing ones are in the north. This disparity is driven by the concentration of private investment and industries like IT, BT, and automobile sectors in Bengaluru and its surroundings, as well as the presence of PSUs like HAL and BHEL in the south. Even in government representation, the inequality is stark—only 12% of gazetted officers and 8% of non-gazetted officers hail from North Karnataka. To address this, the government must take proactive steps: 1️⃣ Develop infrastructure to attract private investment in North Karnataka. 2️⃣ Provide higher incentives for industries to move northward compared to South Karnataka. 3️⃣ Plan the second Bengaluru airport near Tumkur-Shira to facilitate industrial growth in the region Bengaluru is already saturated, forcing people from North Karnataka to migrate for work. Let's come to why I'm making such a direct accusation against the CEC, Gyanesh Kumar. There is an ongoing investigation on this matter in Karnataka. The CID of Karnataka has sent 18 letters in 18 months to the Election Commission. And they have asked the election commission for some very simple facts: 1) Give us the destination IP from where these forms were filled. 2) Give us the device destination ports from where these applications were filed. 3) Most importantly, give us the OTP trails—because when you file, you have to get an OTP. The CID of Karnataka has written to the Election Commission 18 times in 18 months, but they are not giving it. Why are they not giving it? Because this will lead us to where the operation is being done. And we are absolutely convinced where this is going to lead. I'll give you a little bit of the chronology: 👉 The FIR is filed on February 23. 👉 Karnataka CID writes to ECI requesting all details of these numbers and these transactions almost immediately in March. 👉 In August, EC gives the reply. It doesn't fulfil any of the demands and doesn't give us the information. It also doesn't give the CID of Karnataka the information that will lead them to their destination. 👉 On January 24, the Karnataka CID writes to the EC again and asks for full information. But it gets no answer from EC. 👉 Karnataka CID by September 25 has written 18 reminder letters. While this is going on, the CEC of Karnataka writes to the Election Commission in Delhi and says there is a matter. But he receives no answer. Now this is absolute solid proof that Gyanesh Kumar is protecting the people who are doing this. We had a detailed and fruitful discussion on the prevailing situation in Karnataka. The Honourable Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge ji, Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi ji, Karnataka CM, and KPCC President, along with the In-charge General Secretary, all met together and discussed the issues in detail. One of the topics we discussed was the caste census, which the Karnataka government is set to discuss in a special cabinet meeting on the 12th. The Congress party's stance is that while they agree in principle with the Karnataka government's approach to the caste census, there are apprehensions from some sections of the communities regarding the counting process. Since the caste census data is about 10 years old, the party suggested that the CM consider a re-enumeration process within a stipulated timeframe, such as 60-80 days. The CM will provide more details on this. We also discussed the current political situation, including the unfortunate tragic incident in Bengaluru. The CM and PCC President briefed the leadership on the incidents and the actions taken by the government afterward. We are deeply concerned about every human life and, as a party, we value human life greatly. Unfortunately, an incident occurred, and the Government of Karnataka has already ordered a judicial inquiry to determine exactly what happened. The party clearly views that there should be a clear-cut, pro-people attitude on this issue. The petty minds at BJP Karnataka have never understood Kalyana Karnataka, which is why L.K. Advani outright denied Article 371-J. If you are genuinely concerned about dynastic politics, start by removing your own State President, as demanded by the senior BJP leaders who built your party and were later unceremoniously thrown out of the party. The BJP seems strangely fixated and obsessed on whether I’m a graphic designer, when what they should really be questioning is whether their #VishwaGuru actually holds a degree in “Entire Political Science”, whatever that’s supposed to mean. Speaking of which, here’s the “degree” of PM Narendra Modi, released by BJP. A few simple questions: •Where is “Gujarat Uni‘B’ersity”? •Who is “Narendra Damod‘E’rdas Modi”? •Is this a fake degree released by Home Minister Amit Shah? Either way, I am still more qualified than your Supreme Leader, going purely by his own public claims. The whole Left ecosystem, starting with the Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge to Congress Chief Ministers across states, seem to have gotten into a frenzy and have become desperate to hide the truth that PM Sri Narendra Modi ji exposed in his tweets on #FakePromisesOfCongress. What Modi Ji has highlighted is a living reality in Karnataka - unsustainable freebie model has wreaked havoc on our State's developmental journey in the last 1.5 years, severely crippling the pace of our progress. What Mr. Kharge himself admits in the video that went viral proves this fact. Apart from his warning to not go overboard with promises, he says that there is no money to make roads. Some people seem to have missed this in translation but that's the indicative reality in Karnataka. That's the gist of what he was trying to say - that development has taken a backfoot in the state because of the unsustainable guarantees that the Congress party is trying to keep alive. It asserts the fact that Congress has fully realized the cost of its own guarantees on State's finances. Take CM Siddaramaiah's last budget for instance. To accommodate these freebies - although there is a budgetary provision made, he has achieved the provision by reducing budget in other key sectors. - The agricultural budget has been reduced by 38%. - The irrigation budget - crucial for many North Karnataka districts and in South Karnataka too - has been reduced by 17%. - The Capital Expenditure is down by 13%. - For Education, 11% budget is allocated while State Average is 14.7%. - Further, Congress budget has allocated merely 0.6% towards Urban Development, against other States average of 3.5%. - Inadequate fund have pushed Bangalore infra from bad to worse. - About Rs 13,000 crore of SC/ST funds have been redirected to fund the freebies. - Every MLA across all party lines is seen complaining about the lack of funds for local area development. - Govt stopped Rs 4000/- that was earlier added as State Contribution to PM Kisan Fund, directly impacting over 58 Lakh farmers. What's worse, while Govt hospitals do not have medicines at their pharmacy due to lack of funds, legacy institutions like KSRTC are being pushed to 100s of crores of losses. All done to keep the evidently unsustainable Guarantees alive. This shouldn't come as a surprise as it's not the first time that Congress itself has spoken about the ground reality in Karnataka. DCM DK Shivakumar, in the first six months of the Government taking over, had said there are no funds for development in Karnataka. CM's Financial Advisor Basavaraj Rayareddy had blamed the freebies for the lack of growth in the state. Mr. Kharge's statement is the most recent addition to such series of admissions by the Congress party. Anyway, it brings another opportunity to throw light on the mishaps that the Karnataka Govt is pursuing on the economic front. When BJP presented its last budget under CM Basavaraj S Bommai, it was a revenue surplus budget. But the latest budget under Siddaramaiah has a revenue deficit of over Rs 12,000 crore! To accommodate these freebies - although there is a budgetary provision made, he has achieved the provision by reducing budget in other key sectors. - The agricultural budget has been reduced by 38%. - The irrigation budget - crucial for many North Karnataka districts and in South Karnataka too - has been reduced by 17%. - The Capital Expenditure is down by 13%. - For Education, 11% budget is allocated while State Average is 14.7%. - Further, Congress budget has allocated merely 0.6% towards Urban Development, against other States average of 3.5%. - Inadequate fund have pushed Bangalore infra from bad to worse. - About Rs 13,000 crore of SC/ST funds have been redirected to fund the freebies. - Every MLA across all party lines is seen complaining about the lack of funds for local area development. - Govt stopped Rs 4000/- that was earlier added as State Contribution to PM Kisan Fund, directly impacting over 58 Lakh farmers. What's worse, while Govt hospitals do not have medicines at their pharmacy due to lack of funds, legacy institutions like KSRTC are being pushed to 100s of crores of losses. All done to keep the evidently unsustainable Guarantees alive. This shouldn't come as a surprise as it's not the first time that Congress itself has spoken about the ground reality in Karnataka. DCM DK Shivakumar, in the first six months of the Government taking over, had said there are no funds for development in Karnataka. Why am I accusing CEC, Gyanesh Kumar directly? There is an ongoing investigation on this matter in Karnataka. The CID of Karnataka has sent 18 letters in 18 months to the Election Commission. And they have asked the election commission for some very simple facts: 1) Destination IP from where these forms were filled 2) Device destination ports from where these applications were filed. 3) OTP trails—because when you file, you have to get an OTP. Why is EC not giving these details? Because this will lead us to where the operation is being done. And we are absolutely convinced where this is going to lead. Chronology: 👉 The FIR is filed on February 23. 👉 Karnataka CID writes to ECI requesting all details of these numbers and these transactions almost immediately in March. 👉 In August, EC gives the reply. It doesn't fulfil any of the demands and doesn't give us the information. It also doesn't give the CID of Karnataka the information that will lead them to their destination. 👉 On January 24, the Karnataka CID writes to the EC again and asks for full information. But it gets no answer from EC. 👉 Karnataka CID by September 25 has written 18 reminder letters. While this is going on, the CEC of Karnataka writes to the Election Commission in Delhi and says there is a matter. But he receives no answer. Now this is absolute solid proof that Gyanesh Kumar is protecting the people who are doing this.
