This is regarding the enhancement of BC reservations to 42% in education, employment, and local body elections in the state of Telangana. The Telangana Chief Minister has approved the Cabinet and the Telangana Legislative Assembly has unanimously passed the bill to provide 42% reservations to BCs. This bill was sent to the Governor six months ago, but no decision has been taken yet.
