Yet another grim reminder of the growing goondaism unleashed under the Ganja Model DMK Government. Near Thiruthani, two college students were brutally attacked by a gang armed with knives and sickles, intoxicated by ganja. Disturbingly, two of the three assailants were reportedly juveniles, an indictment of how deeply this toxic culture has seeped into our social fabric. The consequences of patronising and normalising such hooliganism by a certain section in TN are now playing out on our streets, endangering innocent lives. It is time those responsible confront the damage they have inflicted on society and are held accountable before this rot claims more victims.
