Or does it have other purposes — and are we merely a byproduct of its creation? : If the Universe can only know itself through conscious minds, why did it let life on Earth teeter on the edge of extinction dozens of times? The one thing we absolutely know with certainty about the Richat Structure is that there was an incredible amount of human activity here from the dawn of toolmaking and tool use itself. The Acheulean Hand Axe is the second tool that humans ever made and this technology spread throughout Africa, Europe and Asia while no definitive evidence exists that this technology ever made it to the Americas. I think this is evidence that this technology was shared and disseminated intentionally, that neighboring humans didn’t come up with this independently on their own but this was a legacy, an institution, a skill and an industry that was shared and taught. It is perhaps the earliest evidence we have of widespread cultural diffusion throughout Africa, Europe and Asia. And yes, it’s right there at the Richat Structure which leads me to question the role that the Richat played to humans half a million years ago. Tyler Spry: There’s a video that’s gone around on the Internet when I was writing with V, James Essien and Sean Foreman. That video is not the making of any of the songs that made the album, but it was one of the most fun days I had in the studio with the guys. We were just jumping up and down, singing the songs. I think that it was one of the freest days we had in the studio, creatively. So I do hope that song gets to see the light of day.

No matter how many years it has been, I still love to make Mario Moonwalk every time I reach Super Mario Bros. World 4-2. As a kid, it was part of the neighborhood collective play pattern. Like blowing in cartridges and the Contra Code, it was one of those things that was simply “known.” Michael Jackson was at the height of his popularity, and most kids knew of the Moonwalk, which became legendary after he first performed it during Billie Jean at Motown 25. A neighborhood boy showed this to me one day in the late 80s playing it on Nintendo and we all thought it was so cool. Years later it’s still habit! Though familiar to many, I realize this might be new to some. To do it, enter World 4-2 small, make the cursed jump, then leave enough space at the left of the screen so that you can walk back under there after getting the hidden mushroom. Face left, then press right when the Mushroom reaches you to Moonwalk! Whether new to you or simply a fun reminder of a gaming staple of youth, I hope it gives you a smile today ❤️

We recorded the outro to Trust Ceremony in 𝖈𝖆𝖈𝖔 (𝓵𝓪𝓫𝓸𝓻𝓮𝓭 𝓮𝓹 𝓮𝓻𝓪) 🌸 ‘s bedroom near the end of this last tour. It was one of the last things that was recorded for the album. After YEARS of working on this album mostly alone, and spending the entire tour kinda isolating myself to get it done in time, it was really cathartic getting to finish it off with my friends. Now everytime I listen to it, I’ll remember this little moment of celebrating all our hard work on that tour. It’s a reminder that even in the things that I must do alone, I’m blessed to be surrounded by people who are rooting for me at every step :’) Anyways, all that is to say that we all sobbed when we finally listened to the album and reached the end

Earlier today I was ironing some clients clothe with the gas iron when I had the sudden urge to use the toilet. I turned off the gas and went to the toilet. I went about with other things when I came out thinking the iron was off. Next thing I heard was Mummy your table is burning. I rushed down to find that the gas was still on and I had only increased the heat instead of turning it off. What amazed me was that the rubber iron mat that came with it didn't burn but everything beneath it melted. Does anyone know the kind of material they use in making the mat? Alhamdullilah, what if it happened during the week when my kids are not around? Why is it so hard to fix the power problem in this country so we don't have to resort to endangering our lives trying to solve problems that we shouldn't be having in 2026? In all, Alhamdullilah.
