You have no proof that they're hiring illegal immigrants. Demanding access to a private company on private property, and behaving as some form of unauthorised document inspector, is against the law. You lose the moral highground, if you're breaking the law, while making sure other people aren't breaking the law.

Nicole South Africans have moved passed this talking point, that we must wait for authorities. The problem is that authorities have already been corrupted and there is no point of reporting or waiting on them

I know, and I fully agree. But where does it stop? I don't support illegal migration, but I also do not support vigilantism. My view is that illegal migration is wrapped up in the broader problem of criminality in South Africa, such as illegal mining, the illicit cigarette trade, drug running, child sexual exploitation and prostitution. It's not as simple as a bunch of illegals taking your jobs. You're just scratching the scab off an extremely deep wound.

Nicole we need a lot but the reality is we're not getting it. I am proud to be a South African willing to stand up against the government and SHOW them that we will no longer accept empty words. We want deeds. We want them to reduce taxes, water,electricity, education, food and transport costs - we cannot continue living like this "hoping" it will change. She just PROVED we made them listen.

I stopped paying my rates in 2018 and made it clear to the municipality, that the lack of service delivery was unacceptable. No. Why would we? I've never even met the contractor who does some of our back end development. He's just a voice on the other end of a Teams call. One guy is stationed in Malaysia, one in Cape Town and most of my colleagues work between two different countries.
