🚨🚨Jamie Carragher believes Michael Carrick can not lead Manchester United to winning the Premier League title: 🗣“I just don’t see Manchester United winning the Premier League with Michael Carrick as their manager. It’s a huge challenge and, for me, it’s a massive step up from anything he has done before. Michael was an outstanding player, he understands the game and he has qualities as a coach, but managing Manchester United and delivering a Premier League title is a completely different level of pressure. “When you look at the managers who win leagues, they usually have a proven track record of competing at the very top, dealing with difficult moments and finding ways to get results when the pressure is at its highest. United are a club where expectations are always to win trophies, not just improve or compete. I think Carrick has a lot of potential, but I don’t believe he is ready yet to take a club like Manchester United and win the Premier League. It’s a huge job, and I think it’s too big of a gamble at this stage of his career.”
