Maybe my voice is just a broken record, and guys are just tired, and guys might tend to do what they want to do." "But as a leader it doesn't matter. Being a leader is like the same thing as being a dad, you just gotta keep on being available and consistent with your words and your actions, over and over and over again and one day you hope that the message is going to go through. Jayson Tatum on his message of gratitude to the team yesterday: “It was one, just being vulnerable, showing my appreciation to the team, of how they have played this season, how they motivated me every single day. The joy and competitive nature that they displayed, I wanted to be a part of that. And I say it all the time, going through rehab and being injured is lonely. It's not intentional. I couldn't practice for a while, I couldn't be in the game. When they were on the court, I was in the weight room, having to do my own thing. So you feel isolated, in a sense. “But I just expressed that being around as much as possible, going to games, being on the plane, really made me feel like I was still very much a part of the team, and how thankful to the group for just being themselves. I was thankful to the coaches that extended their days a lot by helping me during rehab and on the court and pick-up games [for] my conditioning. So I really just kind of telling everybody in the room that they all played a part in essentially helping me get to this moment.”

My content is going to slow because I have to work a day job to go on these trips until I have sponsors for the show. I just want to keep you guys in the loop because this isn’t just my show, it’s ours! I appreciate you guys supporting me through it all and I’m excited to graduate this month and make covering the NFL my full-time career! GO BIRDS!

Mike Dunleavy Jr. says the Warriors are not in a situation to fix everything in free agency but they’re looking to put together a good team going into training camp: “I think there’s where you want to be in September when training camp starts, and there’s where you want to be in the spring as you try and compete for the postseason and get in the postseason. We have a couple transaction cycles here in the summer and then once again in February where we feel like we can build and maximize our team. And so I think the biggest thing is to put together a good team going into camp. And as I mentioned before, a lot of the improvement for us is going to have to come from within our habits, taking care of the ball, doing the little things. Get that knocked out, you get on your way to having a good season. We need to stay healthy and then get those guys (Jimmy & Moses) back, and then we’ll see at the trade deadline and we’ll evaluate everything. But this is not a fix-everything over the next couple weeks in free agency. We’re not in that situation based on some stuff we have going on, but we can get a lot better. We can have a good start to the season, and we can be in really good shape to make a run. But we got to get off to a good start.” (via NBC Sports Bay Area & CA with Bonta Hill and Monte Poole)

“Everyone in LA is getting robbed” “My parent’s house got robbed tonight. For everybody advocating for everything going on in LA, I know, at least personally, 4 different homes that have gotten robbed” The cops told them to stop calling, “We’ll get there when we get there” “My mom and my sister being 2 of them. Let's talk about it. My mom lives a block down from me. She called me, she said they took everything. - Called the cops. She doesn't speak English - I called the cops. Cops said you need to have the victims call us so that we can rush to you quicker - I explained that my parents are Armenian. They can't speak as fluently as me. Somebody took everything from their home. You guys have to show up. It's been an hour and a half - I just called the second time and they called me back to let me know to stop calling them because they'll get there when they get there. So, Gavin Newsom, you have beautiful hair.”
