He might've become a good person if he got to know her. At the same time, he would've also been driven insane by her death, and likely would've attacked the planet way more earlier and vicious then he already does

Its very interesting to think about, but I feel like regardless of ever meeting/knowing her, Eggman still would've turned evil because of what happened to Gerald. That was the catalyst that destroyed any faith he might've had in humanity.
