👀 Sneak Peek of Marina Promenade📍 We’ve been putting on the finishing touches as the Marina Promenade will be re-opening for public use in the early morning of Friday 20 December. The popular riverside amenity extends 1.8km from Centre Park Road to Blackrock Village, a six-meter-wide pedestrian & cycle corridor with adjoining plazas, riverside balconies, new seating areas, environmentally sensitive public & feature lighting and many other features. The works carried out on the project include: ➡️Provision of new pedestrian and cycle access points from the Marina Promenade to the adjacent Marina Park including Atlantic Pond and the Cork City to Passage West Greenway. ➡️Protection and retention of the iconic formal tree planting along the route and restoration of the old stone walls. ➡️Protection and enhancement of the natural heritage, green space and biodiversity of the area including the provision of swales and related planting. ➡️ Provision of a new access road serving the rowing clubs, Pairc Ui Chaoimh/Atlantic Pond. The contractors Ward & Burke will continue to work on the adjoining Marina Park Project into 2025. #WATCH | Telangana: Hyderabad Traffic Police is implementing a one-way traffic movement system around KBR Park with effect from 18.08.2026, in view of the ongoing construction of flyovers and underpasses under the H-CITI Project in and around the KBR Park corridor. VC Sajjanar, Commissioner of Hyderabad City Police, says, "A very historical and prestigious project, H-CITI will have one-way around the KBR Park. This will ease the traffic and congestion around the Park. As a part of this project, there will be 7 flyovers and 7 underpasses. The project has already started...The public has really cooperated. The project will go live on 18th of this month, I request them to ensure that the one-way is implemented successfully..."

I congratulate the residents of Baroshke and all of Duhok and Kurdistan on the opening of Sarhaldan Park. The area used to be an industrial site, but now it’s a green park and open for the community. Our land is sacred and beautiful, I urge everyone to protect its environment.

The park has visible issues like needles, drug addicts and Narcan packets as a long-standing problems in the area. Officials are trying to address ahead of events like the 2026 World Cup Meaning it’s like when Gavin Newsom cleaned up San Francisco for the President of China Democrats only clean up areas when people from out of state and out of country are coming to visit and will be able to see it and take videos Whenever nothing is going on, they let it rot

China creates the worlds largest national park system - by a mile. The national park idea was invented in Yellowstone in the US. Now China will make a national park system three times the American. Of course there is no competion - its wonderful that both China and the US inspire the world to protect Mother Earth. I am reporting from Qinghai - the park at the source of three massive rivers - a park as large as England or Uganda.

Thanks to the unbelievable generosity of Jim McLuskey at Enviro-clean and grants from the SFA and SLC we have an excellent new concrete surface on the car park next to the pitch. Vehicles are not allowed on it for 2 weeks to allow it to cure and strengthen. The car park will reopen on Friday 10th July. Until then can we car share, use the car parks at the train station and village and street parking in Graham Avenue. Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES can anyone park in the residents car park at Kirkton Gate. I’m sure everyone will agree that for the sake of another 2 weeks of slight disruption to have a car park fit for the next 50 years at Kirktonholme is well worth it.
