"I want people to talk about sexual assault the way they talk about cancer." Mariska Hargitay spoke about her decades-long efforts to destigmatize sexual assault and domestic violence at Tuesday’s TIME Women of the Year Leadership Forum. The actress has worked to do so both through her iconic role as Captain Olivia Benson on NBC’s Law & Order: SVU and through her work as the founder of the Joyful Heart Foundation. Hargitay, who also serves as a director and executive producer on SVU, went on to explain how she is currently pushing for a storyline exploring the critical work of sexual assault nurse examiners (SANEs), who perform rape kit exams. Adele has reportedly opened up about why she divorced her ex-husband Simon Konecki after only one year of marriage. “At some point, I found him unattractive. There were things about him that started to disgust me, and I genuinely wished I had never married him in the first place. I was naive when I said yes. Looking back, he simply wasn’t on my level. I want a man who matches me and on my level and that’s why I’m still searching.

🚨 BREAKING: CHRISTA PIKE’S LAWYERS DESCRIBE HER CONFUSION AFTER WAKING UP “I was not in the room when she woke up, so I don’t want to speculate too much, but from our understanding the first thing she said when she woke up was, ‘Where am I, and who are you?’” Her lawyers say there is still significant cognitive confusion. “She has wanted to know what happened. She’s asked about her team, the victim’s family.” They say Pike is confused, but very aware that the state tried to execute her.

Tyla opened up about an awkward moment with Rihanna at the Met Gala, saying the singer seemed upset the entire night. “She was honestly kinda mean. She walked past me and I said hi, told her I loved her music, and she just looked at me like ‘eww, not today’ before walking off,” Tyla said. According to her, that was also around the same moment Rihanna and ASAP Rocky allegedly started arguing.
