I think what these Epstein files elucidate is that there is a depraved, corrupt ruling global elite that has created a club that has locked the rest of us out. One of the fascinations for me in reading the emails is how tawdry—and I use the word correctly—depraved these people are, because we don’t get a look into their private lives. Of course, they went on hunger strike, and they’ve violated all sorts of UK laws to hold them there on remand without bringing them to trial. This is also true in the United States.
