Mark Carney on diversifying trade: "Yes, we're doing it to create opportunities for our companies, jobs for Canadians. But we're also doing it to create resilience for Canada, to make Canada more independent, so we can live our lives as we choose."

Ottawa has not published the exclusions page: no free movement of persons, no dynamic alignment, no unvoted contribution, Parliament keeps the last word. Until that paper exists, the standing ovation is weather. LNG Canada Phase 2 still has no second close. The title map has not shrunk. Gazette comments on corridors close on 1 October. A listing is not a permit. A permit is not a loan. The 49,000-car China quota is already moving vehicles while Bécancour still has no anode FID. More than $26 billion sits in one drawer for a war with no published end state while the other drawer sells seed and access. Two invoices. One table. Unsorted paperwork. A country that cannot get one corridor financed twice before 1 January 2027 is not becoming more independent. It is narrating the last decade in a better room and calling the photograph resilience. Geography did not attend Strasbourg. The neighbour who takes most of the cargo is not a mood. He is a factory floor, a refining system, and a truck count. Score it the way a bank would. Production before process. One law for all. Evidence over excuses. Citizens first. Canada first. The rest is seating charts.

Many companies have already left Canada because of high taxes and all the red tape. Carney's Canada isn't business friendly.
