So let me get this straight… Canada is supposed to go fully electric while the rest of the world moves away from Net Zero policies and ramps up oil, gas and coal production? How exactly does destroying our own energy sector “save the planet” if global emissions keep rising anyway? Mark Carney is already warning Canadians they’ll need to “sacrifice more” and if we get it wrong, energy prices could become astronomical. So the plan is to cripple our own industry… then import foreign oil and gas at higher prices? This may be the most absurd economic strategy Canada has ever embraced. How did Canadians get stuck with Mr. Net Zero?

I know why Trump is rooting foreign Carney. Just look at Carney’s record. Six days after Trump announced tariffs, Mark Carney moved his company headquarters out of Canada to New York City, right around the corner from Trump Tower. While Canadians are worried about losing their jobs, Mark Carney was moving jobs to the US. Carney’s leadership is weak, compromised and conflicted and Trump wants to exploit it. Polish Ambassador Witold Dzielski is 100% right. Europe needs Canada’s LNG. Justin Trudeau once said there was “no business case” for exporting Canadian energy to Europe. Now Americans are cashing in and Canada is left behind. This is just one example of a global market that could benefit greatly from Canada and Alberta’s energy. Prime Minister Mark Carney needs to immediately repeal or significantly amend the Liberals bad legislation including Bill C-69 (the No More Pipelines Act), the oil and gas production cap, and the tanker ban so that we can get Alberta energy products around the world and create jobs and wealth for all Canadians.

It’s said that a lie can get around the world before the truth has a chance to put its pants on. This clip is a really good reminder that the job of defending Canadian oil and gas never stops. Pierre does a masterful job of dispelling lies that have been told about Canada’s oil sands. Canadian energy, specifically from the oil sands and Fort Mac, is ethical and adheres to world-class safety and environmental standards. Our oil and gas displaces far worse forms of energy, from far worse countries, to give Canadians a far better standard of living. All we need to do is tell the truth and correct falsehoods when we hear them.
