I said this in the Denver series because it came up there too — teams, players, coaches are going to use the media to try to influence the whistle as a competitive advantage… My mentality on that is it’s the Western Conference Finals. Mark Daigneault didn't call his first timeout in Game 3 until around halfway through the second quarter despite some big punches thrown by the Suns. I asked Mark about that decision and deciding to stick with his guys and allowing them to figure it out on the fly. “I trust our team, and if we can't handle tough situations, then we're not gonna do very much. So we gotta be able to fight through it, and we did. Doesn't mean I'll never call a timeout. But I thought coming on the road it was good just to get a little exposure to that and have to grind through it and the guys did a great job of it today.”

Whistle Drill The Whistle Drill is a great drill that simulates the chaos that takes place during transition defense. Transition defense is basically a scramble situation. Players should not worry about finding "their man" during transition. They should be worried about taking away the lane and easy baskets, stopping the ball, and identifying where the shooters are located. The teams that... -Communicate -Anticipate -Hustle ....will be most successful in transition defense. The Whistle Drill requires players to do all 3 of these things and therefore is a perfect drill to prepare your teams to successfully navigate the chaos of transition defense. Shai wants to focus on team success. All the interactions I have with him are about the team. “Those are two great ambassadors for the game. Jokic is a great guy, a great team guy. TeamSESH is dq'd from Challenger Series after qualifying for the event Q4 Game 1 enemy team protests for Kixa's moss based on the attached video as "proof of cheating". One of the guys on the other team admitted to us in dms that the protest was just cuz they were mad they lost. Head admin pauses our next game and makes us open a ticket; he requests moss from each of us. None of us had it for this first game because we agreed with the other team to not run it prior to the game (aforementioned player who dm'd Kixa was his friend). He then requests moss from all of us from our entire qual. I did not run moss on every game, given some games were against ppl I have played a thousand times and did not feel the need. Regardless this disqualification was from me not running moss for this qualifier. The admins did not care that we had provided dozens of previous moss files from our recent win in XGS and OCS. I understand that they felt they must make this ruling in order to stay in line with their rule book. I still feel that the way in which this was conducted was not within their own rule book given scrupulous evidence and requiring us all to provide moss for the report of one player. Regardless, I was in the wrong for not running it and have to accept that I costed my teams ability to show how hard we worked for this. Everyone with half a brain knows that we do not cheat. Major apologies to everyone that was waiting to see what we could do. We appreciate your support and we will not let a mistake define who we are.
