I understand the social media celebrities people look to for words of wisdom. The fact of the matter is, it’s easy to Google or common sense can just be used. Wonder Man got canceled Not because it was black lead. It’s because most people didn’t support the show. They even tried to prop it up with the Emmy to make people more interested in going to check it out that didn’t work. The thing is, they probably turned people off because they race swapped it. Which is why a lot of people did not watch the show. That’s definitely a possibility. As far as Blade is concerned, Blade failed to be made because if you were following the rumors around it, they couldn’t get the script right Ali kept rejecting the script because it was allegedly garbage and word on the street was it wasn’t about blade every script that was written was trying to make it a transition to blades daughter and not blade himself. So instead of hiring any of the people that wrote the original blades decide to be hardheaded and use the writers that have continued to put out garbage and Ali said fuck it. Word on the street was Ali kept denying the scripts that were brought to him. That situation is way different than Ironheart and the rest of these black superhero movies that people are complaining about getting canceled.

This is just a theory from me (could have been said elsewhere), but they try to make everything linked together so much that each character and story sometimes loses their identity and they probably couldn't see a way for blade to fit without it being another multiverse movie

because nobody watches it…being good is not enough to keep it running, people are not watching.
