this is just objectively wrong ☠️ Superman is a great movie and universe starter. peacemaker season two was good ppl just got underwhelmed with its finale. supergirl is understandable. but then lanterns has been literally cooking every episode??? L take Mark.

DCU started off better than the MCU

Unfortunately, bc Marvel’s early stages are so far behind us, everything DC makes is measured against Marvel’s best (Endgame, Infinity War, etc.) instead of earlier projects like Thor, Iron Man, etc. DC is off to a more than serviceable start, the expectations are just unfair.

Their problem is stuff like supergirl and a fucking Jimmy Olsen vs a gorilla grodd show. Supergirl is maybe a phase 2-3 project, but gorilla grodd is a phase 4-5 project (not on quality, but the characters) but from what I’ve seen they are 2/2 (not counting the penguin)
