no, there is no market reckoning looming. There is no inverted yield curve in US govt bonds; the spread on short-term corporate loans is still small; interest rates are starting to turn; and government spending in being reduced. Yes, Trump's tariff wars are scaring investors, which has a knock-on effect on risk-on assets like stocks, but that's because the Wall Street mindset has become too myopic and short-term obsessed. S&P500 was well overdue a market correction, and personally, I'm still optimistic that we're setting up for a mega rally later this year / 2026. Never bet against Elon Musk, and he should hopefully have a major impact on beating inflation and kick-starting a huge, sustained market rally. But maybe I'm full of shit!
