I’m not scanning my card on any public sidewalk with a sign that says money is going here. The biggest scam in the world. Anybody could put one of these up and take your money. How dumb can people be? I don’t even give money at the register to any charity. Whatever the charity is, it’s just going into peoples pockets. If you want to help out, do it directly in your own community or with a friend or family member who needs help. 🙄

I still wouldn't trust this, it's a great way to get your credit card information stolen.

Most people, especially women, just want perception of helping, and in reality don't really give a sh1t if they are actually helping anyone. If there is some kind of performative action involved that they can be a part of and makes them feel fuzzy on the inside, that's good enough or them. Not to mention all the videos they can take for their Tiktok. This is exactly the reason why Kony2012 was so successful but lead to nothing
