Markiplier’s overall thoughts about SOTM so far

I agree with Mark here, as much as I love SOTM and the story it was telling, I think this is far enough in the past for the FNAF timeline, there's no need to go further into times like the 40s or 60s, the mid-to-late 1970s is a good enough starting point.

He’s speaking what many OG fans who can’t accept the Steel Wool era have been saying for years, but in a much calmer, civilized, & simplistic perspective. I miss what FNAF used to be narratively & overall charm.

People are so black and white with the "solution" to this. There is no reason why SOTM or future FNAF games can't go full flatscreen mouse controlled sit and survive gameplay in key sections. No that doesn't mean we abandon the current quality and free roam, obviously.

He’s completely valid. This free roam direction they went with these games completely killed all of my interest for FNAF. The player being locked into one location was already perfect, no idea why they changed that. 🤷🏾♂️

the story with Ryan man 💔💔😭 it was emotional, just to be reminded of how much mark was dedicated to fnaf

very understandable and sadly there's no fixing it since Scott is not gonna go back to making the games all by himself Even if steel wool tried to make a classic fnaf game, it just wouldnt have that ''1 man's vision'' charm of the og titles

I get what he is saying kind, i dont totally agree with it but its his opinion after all, atleats he had a good time with it

Fair enough, from a gameplay and overall feel perspective,SOTM fells more like a regular horror game out of all the main FNaF games For me, this game still has the personality of FNaF (especially in terms of design and story). But I understand why some people didn't like the game

I don’t hold it against him at all. Ofc modern fnaf will never be the same as the og games because those were different times with horror trends, so nostalgia is partly to blame I love the direction where the franchise is going but, I know it’s not gonna be the same for everyone

I get what he's saying but I do not agree
