Why do people think you’re married to a side of the ball? He “was” a special teams coach. So why didn’t he become an offense or defensive guy during the 18 years he was head coach? Bill Belichick was a defensive coordinator. Do you think he didn’t have a hand in putting together the offense game plan? To let your coordinators do the majority of the game planning and teaching for 18 years is in acceptable.
