If the expecatations in marriage are that your partner will bring out the worst in you, you are most likely with the wrong person.

Women choose courtship, men pick wives. Women are conservative with who they date, men are conservative with who they marry. Women are picky when it comes to sex, men are picky when it comes to commitment. To be a wife you have to be selected. We need Fathers to teach this.

This is true, mystically. You can find out how much you love/respect yourself by how much you tolerate a bad relationship. It’s amazing how many individuals I know who stay in an unhappy relationship or marriage bc they fear being alone, hate change or can’t pay their bills. People mistake infatuation for love. Love is when you can work out the flaws that can be worked out. One must break it if the “lover” is breaking your values.

Why would it bring out the darkest part of you? It has never brought out the darkest part of me.
