I’ve been wanting to share this footage for a while. It was from when I was going in bloc. I think it’s important to have out there because it shows how out-of-control and dangerous this area is because it’s not being policed. A local live streamer was very close to pulling his gun on someone who was pretending like he had a gun. But he actually had a baton. I had no idea if he had a gun or not but could see he had what looked like a sidearm.

This man was criticized for expecting a “thank you” for a good deed. He always saw the same man walking when he drove to work. He assumed the man was walking because he did not have any other means of transportation. He used his own money and bought the man an electric scooter, the man took the scooter and just silently walked away, no thank you or anything else at all. I don’t think that was too much to ask, a thank you goes a long way, otherwise it makes people look ungrateful. Back in college, I had a classmate that I always saw walking home after class. It didn’t matter whether it was raining or snowing, or hot out. Whenever I drove past him he always looked miserable and I could tell he didn’t like to walk all the time. In class I had asked him where he lived, and I found out it was on my way home so I offered to drop him off because it was really cold out and had snowed about a foot. He agreed and we chatted on the way home, nothing serious just pleasant conversation. I dropped him off and went on my way home. For me this was a one time thing, I only offered because how bad it was snowing. After class the next day, he walked with me and when I got to my car he got in. I didn’t agree or offer him a ride that day but he assumed that since I was ok with giving him a ride the day prior that I would be ok with it this day too. I didn’t say anything about it because at this point I didn’t care really. So the next day came and went, once again he walked with me to the car but that day was different. I wouldn’t be going his way because I had to work after class. So before I got to the car I said “I’ll see you tomorrow.” He looked dumbfounded and said aren’t you taking me home? I said no, I have to get to work. He then asked me how he would get home, and I told him the same way you always have. He then gave me excuses for why I was being a jerk because I was making him walk in the cold. I didn’t argue I just told him I helped him out when I could, but I wasn’t about to go out of my way because he didn’t have a car and besides I didn’t want to be late for work. watching the trailer again it seems to me like chan is being given 2 options 🤔 this (the regular life where he had a normal job) or that (the life where he's rich and famous). even though he tries to choose 'this', his voice comes out all distorted and the barista insists on giving him 'that'. and even the cup that he presented as 'this' was turned so it actually read 'that'. as if he never had a choice at all and his fate was already decided for him

I should start by saying I'm no journalist. Today, a random boy from Kavango East approached me and my colleagues as we sat by the parking outside. First we thought he was begging. Only for him to tell us his name is George Kakuwa. Then he went on to say he was the boy who walked 200km to Rundu to attend the founding father's memorial service last year (2025) in February. I of course searched up the newspaper article just to make sure it was him. Before I could even verify, he continued saying he never got his money and he never went back to school. Most of us remember this story, and how he was hailed as a symbol of youthful inspiration, so much so that a certain amount was pledged to help him and his grandmother with his school. But according to him, it never reached the boy or the family. I recorded the video as evidence, his words are his own whether true or not. Someone should definitely follow up on this story to verify. We’ve seen a lot of dogs in bad conditions but I think this lovely boy might be the worst pain I’ve ever seen a dog in. We’d been told about him by a kind man in the community who found him but had no idea how to help beyond giving him water, food and putting a little electric fan on him. He eventually got through to us in sheer desperation. The dog has been there for days apparently and probably hit by some sort of major trauma. He hasn’t eaten or drank his water and he was laying in his own pee and poop. That little alley way was where it was all going to end very soon because I could see from his gums and other signs he was in big big trouble. We had to just go for it and make a stretcher with what we had and push through the pain. It took us 40 minutes to get back to Tina’s hospital and he screamed at every tiny bump on the road. I thought his spine was broken and was super relieved when it wasn’t. I thought he might be so bad that we’d never be posting this video as it might be better to put him out of his misery. He is very sick and has some stuff going on internally but it is pelvis related we believe. He is by no means 100% going to make it as he has so much going on inside him but we have some hope now. The team are in full action mode to try and save him. I called him Bear as he is a big fluffy gentle giant I can tell. I’m not sure how this story ends but it’s already better than he was alone in that alley this morning. He’s having a huge sleep now with lots of pain relief and meds. 🤞🤞🤞

Today would have been my nephew Matthew Perna's 42nd Birthday. If January 6, had never occurred, he would probably be married with a baby or 2. His Dad would still be alive, instead of deteriorating and dying a brokenhearted man, 2 years after Matthew. Matthew loved so many things in his life, one was music. His Dad was a classical pianist and taught him to play. (My Dad was also a pianist, who taught Matthew's Dad and the rest of our family.) He had not played piano for several years, but when he decided to stay near his Dad after his Mom died unexpectedly, he bought a used piano. This is a short video shows him revisiting a classical piece of music that he hadn't played since he was a child. He was determined to get back to playing, so he pulled out the old music books that he was taught from, and started again. After his arrest, he never touched those keys again.💔😢
