IBEW member: Personally, I’m super excited for Labor Day. My grandfather was in the labor movement in Chicago for many years, so I see it as a tradition—and it makes me think about my family. When we speak about labor, we speak about the individuals in this country who are supporting the workforce and keeping it solid. Labor Day is a time to reflect, a time to think about all of those who have sacrificed in order for us to have a better workplace in this country.
