Marshall, North Carolina

This is one of the quaintist little towns in WNC. It is so heartbreaking.

That's where my bride and I got our certificate for marriage. The town clerk found us a small chapel who performed the ceremony and a local restaurant made us a special dinner and cake. I'm heartbroken...

@gomer2323 Or even better than “thoughts & prayers”, send FEMA and the National Guard. You can think and pray on your own after that.

And global warming is only just getting started up! Expect to see stuff like this much more frequently!

I have cousins that live in Marshall. Couldn't reach them until this morning. Thank God they live up the hill. But I've met many great people who live down in town and it's amazingly difficult to see this. ☹️
