Last night, I stood in the Senate to address the serious issues that led to Senator Thorpe’s suspension. I’ve endured constant attempted intimidation and abuse from Senator Thorpe, including being called a “white colonialist” and told to “go back where you came from.” Her behaviour has been a stain on the Senate, the heart of our democracy, where robust debate should take place without aggression and verbal abuse. It’s astonishing that the Greens, who claim to champion workplace safety for women, voted against the motion and turned a blind eye to the treatment I’ve faced. What am I, if not a woman deserving of the same respect and protection? The hypocrisy is astounding. I hope Senator Thorpe takes this as a wake-up call. She has been given a privileged position in this Parliament, a chance to represent Australians fairly and respectfully. It’s time she used it to unite, not divide. This is an important debate about the integrity of our Parliament, and so, in addition to my words, a link to the full debate is included here:

My response to Congressman Andy Ogles. I have advocated for years in support of the nuclear family. I believe there is a push on the left to erode the nuclear family, and we see that birth rates are at an all-time low. However, saying “homosexuality has no place in America” is the type of intolerant rhetoric we see on the left where they exclude and silence people. I have felt respected and embraced by the Republican Party. I am booked to speak at Republican events often. I advocate for American values. We currently have the highest ranking gay cabinet member in history, Scott Bessent. He was not chosen because he is gay, but based off of merit. That’s how it should be. These types of broad statements will only turn off independent and right-of-center voters heading into the midterms. I respect those who do not believe in gay marriage, as I don’t need the people around me to be 100% aligned with who I am. We have religious freedom and liberty in this country. There are folks who watch my content, but don’t agree with me on everything. That’s fine! However, saying I have “no place in America” is a mistake. It’s certainly not what President Trump or this administration believes either. 🇺🇸

Floor-crossing MP Lori Idlout is even worse than we thought Remember when Lori Idlout crossed the floor? Yeah, that was bad. Nunavut voters elected her as an NDP MP by just 41 votes. A handful of families changing their minds would’ve flipped the result. Then she handed that seat to Mark Carney’s Liberals anyway. A quiet deal in Ottawa that erased the choice voters made. But now we know more. It turns out Lori Idlout wasn’t just playing politics. She was also billing taxpayers for purchases from her own business. House of Commons disclosures show four transactions in 2025 tied to her company, Carvings Nunavut, totalling about $1,756. That includes multiple smaller purchases and one larger one just under $1,400. Only after media questions did she suddenly realize this was a problem. Her explanation? It was an “error.” Right. Because apparently, running purchases from your own company through your parliamentary expense account just… happens. And we’re supposed to believe this wasn’t noticed until reporters started asking questions? She paid it back. But let’s be very clear about what that means: she didn’t stop — she got caught. Now zoom out because this is where the pattern matters. Idlout’s own ethics disclosures show she has full ownership of Carvings Nunavut and full ownership of Nunavut Holdings. Having been in DC for too long, I know a decent number of people who know her quite well. For a long time she was the co-host of a podcast with her best friend Bethany Mandel, called Ladybrains, though she has also worked for multiple super PACs, the Chamber of Commerce, and the Heritage Foundation. Some background, presented without judgment: In 2014, Fifield began work as digital director for American Action Network, a Republican Super PAC that oversees House races. Kerre Woodham has flagging ratings. And it’s no wonder. Yesterday she discussed the Govts performance. She’s always been very critical of NZFirst, so it was interesting how she handled a series of calls & txts from listeners saying they are going to move their vote to NZFirst. Woodham dismissed this as simpletons being wooed by WP’s “war on woke” to which she asks “what is woke?… it’s just a word people use to say they don’t like your opinion” she then continued “I don’t want to lose woke, I’m a fan of drag queens and you guys aren’t” which elicits a text she deserves. Middle NZ is repudiating progressive politicians - including those from the right, and that’s why Winston Peters & NZFirst have momentum. Politics is and always has been downstream from culture. The longer National and Act ignore that fact by continuing to gorge themselves on woke garbage philosophy the more market share an old fashioned and commonsense party will seize on their continual steady rise in the polls.

NBC’s Chuck Todd succinctly in two and a half minutes describes The Alignment in real time to viewers with the new Trump coalition adding working class Hispanics with a focus on the economy and education, not “Latinx”: Todd: Iowa pollster Ann Selzer “thought she found something with...independent women...I don’t know if it’s enough to make up for the loss of voters of color that have — clearly — I mean, that is — that continues, to me, to be the big story of the night is the shift among Hispanics. Look, Hispanic voters are swing voters and I think, you know, what's interesting here it is the Republican Party treated them the same way they treated white, working class voters. They courted them the same they treated white, working class voters. The Democratic Party has spent a lot of time treating it as an identity group. And, you know, whether it's latinx, which sort of fell flat and so, there’s been a lot of hand-wringing inside Democratic circles. A real split like, you know, it was a total misread sort of by the coastal strategists when it comes to how to target working class voters of color. And I think we’re starting to see sort of a working class coalition start to drift to the right. You know, before, Donald Trump had working class whites. Now? He’s adding working class Hispanics and working class — not necessary seeing evidence of working class African Americans — but adding working class Hispanics. That becomes a very durable majority...It doesn’t matter your ethnicity. It matters your education...Latino voters, in many ways, same — are driven by the same issues and there’s one issue in particular actually that Republicans align closer with Latino — or Latino voters align with conservative — with conservative party and that's school choice. Florida and Texas. So, education and economy, those issues — bread and butter issues and that is how they talk to them. Majority of UCP voters support independence: poll She says she is a federalist. She is not campaigning for Alberta to leave Canada — she's been clear about that. But she is also not turning around and attacking the people who are talking about it. That is not an accident. One look at the numbers and you'll understand why Premier Danielle Smith is walking this line the way she is. According to exclusive polling commissioned by Act For Alberta, and full disclosure, I am the point of contact for that third party advertiser, roughly 60% of United Conservative Party voters say they would vote to leave Canada. Not think about it. Not flirt with it. They would vote to leave. That is not fringe. That is the base. These are the people who built the party, who knocked on doors, who trusted conservative leadership to fight for Alberta. And that brings us to disgraced former UCP premier Jason Kenney, Smith's predecessor. Because he chose a very different path. He calls separatists names. He mocks them as kooks and radicals and crazies, in vicious Trudeau-esque internet tirades. He derided the very people who worked so hard to get him elected in the first place. People who gave him a chance to do it his way. And what did that approach deliver? Nothing tangible. No meaningful reset with Ottawa. No shift in the relationship. No results that matched the promises. So what happened? Those same voters started looking elsewhere. Not because they suddenly changed who they were, not because they are no longer Conservatives, but because they felt ignored, dismissed, and taken for granted. The old ways of strongly worded letters and lawsuits over jurisdiction have never worked. There are no pipelines, no control over immigration, no civil liberties the feds wouldn't crush if given a chance. Smith is not making that mistake. She is reading the room, and when this many people are this frustrated, you do not lecture them. You do not insult them. You do not pretend they are a problem to be managed or berated. You listen.
