Maybe next time we can get a little louder for us” 😂 Marta: “When I was on the court I was like wow what an experience it is to be here. I was watching them growing up and playing together. So it was such a privilege to share the court with them. Sometimes it was so loud today I couldn’t even hear myself. But that’s why we play tennis. So thank you so much guys for bringing the energy. In the 2nd I was just trying to stay closer to the score, even if I’m losing. Just fight. I’m super happy I won this match. You said you felt really tense and stressed during that one. How did you keep your zen this time?” Iga: “I’m in a different place for sure. I feel like I could play my game. I couldn’t really do that at the French. So yeah, I knew what to do. I knew how to play. I just continued being focused and in the zone. Til the end I was pretty confident with my game plan and with my strengths. I’m happy how I did that.”
