🗣️ Martin Odegaard on playing with Bruno Guimaraes: “It was really good. Really good, really natural. Since the first day he came in, it’s been such a natural thing. “Although we had some big fights in the past with him, he’s just come into the team as a really... natural part of the team. “You can see his quality. He can win the ball, he’s a fighter, but he also has so much quality on the ball. He has that calmness on the ball. He always takes the right amount of time and finds the pass. “So it was brilliant. Christos as well. Good to have new players performing like that already.” 🗣️ on how quickly his connection with Bruno developed: "I think it’s been so natural. I think the connection is already there. “You can see that he’s a top, top player. From the first second he’s in training, you feel that presence and the quality. “So I think it’s been really easy to connect with him. Brilliant player, so I’m looking forward to it.”show more

🗣️ Mikel Arteta on Christos Tzolis: "I'm very pleased with him. First of all, the way he has adapted to the club, to the team. The connection he's already generated with the boys. "I think you're going to love the player. He's a very direct player. He's got the ball between the eyes. I think really good at linking up. He has a lot of similarities with Leo in a lot of the things that he can do and the spaces he can occupy. "And then the work ethic that he has. He's a boy that comes with so much hunger as well and wants to prove it. It's a dream for him and we are here to help him."

Xabi Alonso On Enzo Fernandez Transfer rumour 🗣️ “Enzo is a Chelsea player. He’s a top, top player. He’s training really, really well since he started ten days ago with the team, very integrated, and we are happy with him. He’s getting ready for Monday.” Has he told you that he wants to stay at Chelsea? “No. He’s training really well and I see him with a really good attitude, and that’s what we want that everyone is trying their best and preparing for the kickoff of the Premier League.”

Mikel Arteta on Christos Tzolis' impact and the comparisons fans are already making: "Well, I love that a player that has been with us just for a few weeks gets this kind of energy every time he's on the ball. I think he's earned it. I think the way he has performed in the last few games has been phenomenal. What he transmits as a player is so direct, so incisive constantly. "He wants to make things happen and he has an incredible variety of actions in the final third, to decide and to make the right decisions, even when the spaces are sometimes really, really small. Very, very happy with him."

🚨🗣Mo Salah response to the best striker he has ever played with: "It’s very tricky. I played with Drogba, I played with Costa, but the best striker, the most clinical striker I personally play with, I have to go with Darwin Nunez. If Darwin plays with me up top, I know whatever I put in the box, he is going to finish. He’s one of those players that when he is through on goal, you don’t have any doubt that he will put it in the back of the net. He’s kind of a different player. We never had that quality before. He loves to run in space, he doesn’t like the ball much in his feet, which is unique, because he’s really, really fast. So he keeps looking at me because he knows that I can give him the ball easily in a space that he can finish the situation. And I honestly believe this: Darwin will win the golden boot this season, if not the most improved player this season. When you actually watch Darwin play and the goals he scores, you realize what pure talent looks like.”

Very solid debut off the bench from Ugarte It was only 20 minutes but you can already see what he will offer this team He’s a ball winner and a fighter but he’s also calm and collected on the ball Think he’ll prove a lot of people wrong in terms of his quality on the ball A great addition to the team #GlazersOut

Mike Schmitz on the type of players the Mavericks are looking to put around Cooper Flagg: “He’s so versatile. I think that’s the beauty of Cooper. He can play with the ball, he can play without the ball, he’s got such a high IQ, and he defends multiple positions at a high level. I think there are a multitude of different players that can fit with that style, and I think that allows us to be really creative with different lineups we can put around him, and different targets that we can look to add in the draft, free agency, and a trade.”

Steph Curry calls Gui Santos a multi-faceted scorer and he’s excited to see this newer version of Gui in his return: “Gui has taken a tremendous step forward. I think with the increased role of knowing he’s gonna be out there every night, and his confidence being able to grow because he’s seeing the game the right way, he understands how he can be effective. Multi-faceted scorer in unorthodox ways — great footwork, touch, and he shoots the ball really well. He does a lot of things that help connect the game, and it’s just good basketball at the end of the day. It’s nothing crazy other than just make the right pass, make the right cut, if you have the advantage put the ball on the floor, if you’re wide open make a shot. He’s just seeing the game really well, so it’s helped us, and I hope I can create more space for him and vice versa, where he’s finishing plays if teams are sending a crowd to me. So I’m excited to see the newer version of Gui I haven’t seen since I’ve been out.”

Vocal trainers who are currently working in the field shouting out Wonbin’s vocal skills 👤 For me, it’s like within the “idol” category, I’m into the ones who are unexpectedly really good, because there are so many people who are good, I mean, if you bring up like, Dokyeom or Seungkwan, they’re all good anyway (main vocalists of the group) Not those guys, I think RIIZE’s Wonbin is good! He’s so handsome, and he’s such a good dancer too and he even sings while playing the guitar! 👩🏻 His tone is really so nice 👤 i really really like it! He covered a song called Don’t Let Me Down… wow, he sang so well while playing the guitar, and it was so clean… and with that face on top of everything! 🧑🏻 The face is important, you know! It’s important to do well with that face 👤 Exactly! It’s so important I was honestly shocked! I thought he’d just be at like a sub-vocal level, but he’s actually so skilled, I was totally surprised! RIGHTTTTTT!!!!!! #WONBIN #원빈

🗣️Ferran: Man, with Pedri, we have a really good relationship. We first got to meet each other in Valencia. I was in Valencia and he was in Las Palmas. Coincidentally, we happened to have the same representative, so we had the chance to get to know each other. Right from the beginning we built a really great relationship, and I think it's something that will last a lifetime, which is what matters most. In the end, when you have that kind of chemistry on a team, it's something that pays off and it’s noticeable not just on the field, but off it too. Back then, Pedri was above all a lot more shy and not as strong as he is now, you can definitely see he's evolved a lot. Right from the beginning he was a very sociable, very natural guy, and in the end, that's what I like about him the most. 🗣️Pedri: When Barça was trying to sign him, I kept calling him and trying to convince him to come because, honestly, he’s a guy I really like. And well, both on and off the field, you can see every day that we’re always together and have a perfect relationship.

🎙️At Fenerbahçe, you still have a good relationship with Arda. What do you think about him? • Ferdi Kadıoğlu: “He's yeah, really nice guy. So kind, always really respectful, and also like amazing player.” “I'm really happy for him that he's doing well now in Real Madrid, that he's playing a lot, and we need him also in national team.” 🎙️And did you... like you think he understands you on the pitch really well? • Ferdi Kadıoğlu: “Yeah, already I think already in Fener you had a good like 'click' on the pitch.”

🎙️Is Arda Güler your successor? And what do you think of his season so far? 🗣️Toni Kroos: “I was lucky to play with him for a year as well. People keep asking me if he’s my successor and how I see his performances this season at Real. I’m really happy that this year he’s finally getting a lot more playing time. I think he’s definitely a player you can build on for the future. I don’t really like to make comparisons – Arda is a different type of player than I am. His best position is clearly more attacking, so it’s not really about being a successor. But overall, I’m just really happy for him. He’s a great guy, and as I said, I played with him – he’s got such a fantastic touch on the ball, and he’s shown that several times already this season for Real. I just hope he keeps getting regular minutes, because that’s the only way to keep improving. And if he does, I’m sure he can have a long and successful career at Real.” • Toni Kroos Legend. 👑🇩🇪

🗣️ Gary O'Neil on Max Dowman: “I’ve definitely not had a 16-year-old as good as Max Dowman around my group. “I think Mikel has so many good players that you can manage Max Dowman however you want, really. You can give him as much time as he needs. You can drop him in when it fits. “If the game gets tough for him, you’ve got Ødegaard sat there, ready to come on and help if he needs to. So I think he’s in a great spot. “He’s got one of the best coaches around. Arsenal are one of my favourite teams to watch and to study for the work that Mikel’s done there. “I’m sure the future is bright for him because of the surroundings that he has. It’s a very humble team as well. There are no superstars in it. There’s no one that doesn’t get their work done. “So I would expect Max Dowman to be given the best opportunity to be as good as he can be at Arsenal Football Club.”

Kevon Looney speaks on Luka Dončić’s LEADERSHIP and why the Slovenia trip showed his true character “I’ve been in the league for a while, and that was my first time doing something like that, to go into somebody’s country and bring us all out there and spend that much time together. I never did that before. So it just shows his character, showing that he really wants to win. He wants people to know his background, why he is, how he is. And I think we did a good job of that. You know he’s a great player and a great leader, and he likes to show what he can do on the court. And we got to see his personality, off the court. So it was great. You know, we’re gonna follow him"

Alex Fitzpatrick’s start to life on the PGA Tour has been exceptional. After earning membership via winning the Zurich Classic with his brother, Matt, he’s finished T9, 4 and T6 in 3 Signature Events, including a final round 65 yesterday at The Memorial for another top 10. After the round, he was asked if it was good prep for the US Open: “Absolutely, yeah. That played like a major championship out there. It certainly wasn't easy. I think only having two milkshakes this week was probably the key to playing well in the last round. But, no, it's a great test out there. I played really nicely today. I finally holed some putts, so it was nice shoot a low one and see where that leaves me.” He was also asked how nice it’s been to start so well on the PGA Tour: “Yeah, it's really rewarding. I guess that was always the thing after we won, it was, like, how is he going to do, is he going to carry on playing okay. I think that the biggest thing I took really was the win in India. I felt like that was a big weight off my shoulders. That was kind of something that I had wanted since I was young, to win on that TOUR, and I felt like that made it a little easier going into the Zurich not having as much pressure and just trying to enjoy it. “But it's definitely been really rewarding playing some good golf following that and, yeah, hopefully, that stays like that.” Alex says he’s going to play the next 3 weeks at the RBC Canadian Open, the US Open and then the Travelers. He also went to Shinnecock 10 days ago with Matt to check out the course ahead of his US Open debut. Alex’s journey this year has been a lot of fun to follow and hopefully he can keep trending for the rest of the season 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Alex PGA TOUR the Memorial
