True. Nightcrawler was always my favorite, for the longest I'd hoped he'd get his own movie. But I know with the cultural rot thats seeped in over the years X2 will sadly be the closest portrayal to do the character any justice. Even so, hope he makes it to Marvel Rivals one day

I always love the tired hero trope. He's done too much and he's seen too many things. It's not that he doesn't believe in God he knows there's a higher being, that God is real. he just hates him. There is the evergument of if God is omnipotent then God is aware of what people do. Which means he is allowing people to do it. What you don't realize is you have free will. God's love does not entitle you to a paradise on Earth. It is like the love of a parent, he wants what's best for you but it's up to you to make it happen. Everyone has choices they can make.

Last time Marvel wrote him, he advocated mutant orgies in Krakoa to increase their numbers.

First origin story was really cool: Nightcrawler is a mutant/demon since his parent are Mystique and Azazel, so NC is a half demon godbeliever. Since 2023 they change his origin, NC is the LGBTQ son of Mystique and Irene Adler...just ruined his story IMO

Nightcrawler being a devout Catholic in spite of his mutation is as offensive to modern Marvel as Spider-Man is being happily married and anti-communist. They can’t stand it.
