Overwatch is much better in every aspect. Better heroes, design/art team, abilities, UI, competitive, pretty much every aspect. Rivals is outdated arcade slop thats just reguirrated the same slop we've had in comics, movies and TV shows for 50+ years.

Last I checked, Marvel Rivals didn't announce a new game, announcing new game mode, To then cancel the whole premise of the new game and never release the game mode. And only make good updates once you realize that your competition is doing it better...

TFC was goated back in the day. And yeah...the whole concept of game design of Marvel Rivals was based off and Overwatch style game. Both can exist though. Marvel has a huge advantage of possible heroes that have looks and powers already thought of in the comics.

I think OW definitely took inspiration but I would like to argue that a phoenix rising from the ashes in fire is not the most original idea from Marvel either 😅 also TIL there is a word for a Chinese phoenix, Fenghuang
