At the very least you fail if you don't do the last one, but its silly things play out almost exactly the same. They need to take a page out of detroit become human where failing them actually had an effect on the story. Insomniac clearly just suck at designing QTE's

I don't get Kingpin. Spidey can catch Winter Soldier's metal arm, and Daredevil says his muscles sound like steel cables. Yet Kingpin—who isn't even a mutant—regularly makes Spidey sweat in hand-to-hand combat. How is he that strong in front of Spider-Man?!

the failed attempt where he faceplants mid-swing is the real highlight, honestly
