The way he stands in complete silence all the way in the foreground for a few seconds to where he practically blends in before walking forward is one of my favorite shots from the movie.

It’s so interesting when Mary’s made it through the crevice she takes another look at pirate Clark not laced with fear, but almost feeling sorry for him.

This movie was interesting until an actual pirate monster started chasing people. That’s what ruined the movie.

The tension building up to the reveal of Pirate Clark was just perfect - the redhead suddenly bolting, Clark and Mary looking around confused, the sound of those footsteps getting closer with that eerie music underneath it. And then the actual shot composition during his entry and the conversation with Clark leading right up to him devouring Clark. Everything about this scene was amazing

When the footsteps of pirate clark started approaching, why did clark say “it’s only me here, you know me” why did he have to lie so he will pretend they were both getting attacked and then went ahead to choke her. Do you think that’s what got pirate clark entity angry and made him bite him? #Backrooms

Why did Pirate Clark suddenly eat Clark in the #Backrooms Pirate Clark was Clark's guilt. Not psychological guilt, literal guilt. The weight of every lie, every person he hurt, every compromise he made... materialized. And guilt doesn't negotiate with people who deny it. It consumes the people who finally accept it. When Clark stopped lying and accepted, "Yes, I'm this monster," his guilt had nothing left to fight. #backrooms

This scene in the Backrooms movie was genuinely so terrifying, i really the this illustration of the back rooms , it’s so creepy yet such a genius work of art. Seeing Mary climb up those steps while Pirate Clark chased her was definitely one of my favorite sequences in the film.

Honestly this scene in the Backrooms movie really disturbed me, Pirate Clark did not need to do that to Clark at all. I really felt bad for Clark here, but it’s a really good scene a representation of Clark’s mental state in the 3rd act of the film

This scene from #Backrooms really gave me anxiety. i kept wondering what was going to happen to Mary and btw why was Clark hiding at first and what does he mean by “It’s every place that ever was”? Also i think he was trying to hide and save her from the incoming footsteps of captain clark by choking her because he has paranoid fears captain clark was going to kill them both.
