After destroying a nation and all that is good in it, the Leftists today have leisure to draw breath and smugly contemplate the depth of degradation to which they have successfully dragged this once-fine people and civilisation.

Correct. Britain now finds itself with uncultured, uncivilized people growing within its borders, who are a danger and menace to the public, & hostile to Britain's way of life, history and values. Britain's cities are now very low risk and London is only an English city by name run by an authoritarian Mayor who couldn't care less about British values. And is the British government as a whole. People need to understand you can not run a country solely based on compassion and allow its laws to be abused that negatively impacts the social & moral structure of the indigenous people. People who arrive in a country must go through the correct channels to join that community, then expect to assimilate, that's speaking the language & observing the country's culture, history and laws. And I say this as an immigrant myself. As I see it Britain can only be saved once it cuts all ties with the ECHR and revises or rips up the HRA 1998. Continuing with the status quo will be disastrous.

The reason it will continue is because it will never affect the people who made this decision.

I wouldn't be at all surprised to see a movement in the Falklands to become part of Argentina at this point.
