I honestly wasn’t sure that I’d even want it after I fixed it. The lesson it taught me is that sometimes it’s the ones that test you, that you truly value. More than cars 10x its value. No car has made me cry before but the Pajero Evolution did. BIG TIME. So I wrote about it. … I really wrote it all for you, the people who followed its frustrating journey. When Newfoundland joining Canada happened, it passed with just 52%. That was enough to bring Newfoundland into Canada. So let’s be honest about what that means. If 52% is enough to join, then 52% is enough to leave. That’s already the precedent, and everybody understands what a clear majority is. If 52% of Albertans vote to leave and we’re told we’re “not allowed,” then what does that actually say about the system? At that point, the decision has already been made by the people. Because if independence is the end goal, you don’t ask permission forever. You get the mandate first. Until there’s a vote, nothing changes. But once there is, everything does.

Marc Andreessen just stripped artificial intelligence down to what it’s really made of. Not the algorithms. Not the data centers. The raw material. The worst one yet… this is the disabled toilet in @koynlondon last night. When I asked them about it, they said, “It’s not the disabled toilet; it’s a storage cupboard”. I then asked them to show me where the disabled toilet was. They responded, “Uhhh, well, we can clear it out.” Disgusting attitude. It is high time that councils go around and inspect restaurant-disabled toilets and give on-the-spot fines for misuse!!!

We literally have the pictures, the proof, the actual place where that night happened... you served him inside, not outside, not whatever version is being pushed this week. Stop twisting memories just to fit a new narrative. Some of us actually care about facts, about what really happened, not what looks good online. And yes, Liam was drinking water and Red Bull that night because he had just gotten out of rehab. Because he was trying. Because he was fighting to stay sober. That’s the truth. Stop rewriting it. #JusticeForLiam

Apparently, I saw this video online and I decided to share. What this worker is applying is called bitumen, or what many of us know as bituminous coating. Most people think a wall is a solid, impenetrable block, but in reality, it is more like a sponge. Concrete and blocks have microscopic pores that pull water from the earth through a process we call capillary action. This thick black substance is the shield that stops that water from climbing up into the house. It is not about making the wall look good because this part will be buried under the dirt forever. It is about creating a skin that water cannot breathe through. When do you need to do this? The need for this arises because the soil is a very aggressive environment. Water is not your only enemy.. The ground also contains salts and sulfates that want to eat away at the cement. If this moisture finds its way to the steel bars inside the columns, those bars will start to rust. And when steel rusts, it expands, and that expansion is what cracks the concrete from the inside out. This coating is the only thing standing between your foundation and that kind of slow destruction. Thats is why if you see wet patches at the bottom of your walls inside your house, it usually means someone skipped this step or did it poorly during construction. You can apply this anytime you are building parts of a structure that will stay in contact with the ground. It is common in areas where the water table is high or where the soil stays damp for most of the year. This is a one-shot opportunity. Once you backfill the soil, you can never go back to fix it without a lot of expense and a lot of digging. It is about having the foresight to protect the heart of the building while it is still exposed. Please don’t ignore this if you need to. If you ignore it now to save a bit of money, you will be funding the future decay of your own home. I hope this helps.

The discourse around the Eze penalty last night is fascinating. If nothing else it provides Arteta with an excuse as to how his team has been hard done by and robbed. He loves excuses. It’s a fascinating situation because I actually think the right outcome was reached albeit through the wrong process. Once given on the field under the current rules it shouldn't have been overturned. For that Arsenal can feel aggrieved. Don't forget Arsenal were the beneficiaries of an incredibly soft penalty in Leverkusen. It wasn’t overturned. I find the attached video interesting because it clearly shows how minimal the contact is. The defender doesn’t pin Ezes foot to the ground. Doesn’t smash into it. It brushes down the side of it. It’s where the still pictures of it were wildly misleading. Are we really saying that contact such as that is worthy of a penalty? What’s clear in the video is that Eze has absolutely made the most of the slight contact. I love the straight left leg. A very natural position. It’s a brilliant dive and normally it would have been rewarded. By saying that is a stone wall penalty all we are doing is encouraging such theatrics and cheating. Whenever you hear the words “that was clever” by a commentator they are intimating the player has cheated/made the most of it. We complain about refs all the time but what chance do they have when players are doing stuff like this. Until players are punished properly there is no disincentive for players to keep doing this stuff. I also find it fascinating when you have a foot brushed like this. When you compare it to all the holding/pushing/grappling at other times. Sometimes a contact sport and others not. Is this really what football has become?

So apparently everybody got mad because this dude thinks its ok to price a raw card based on what grade it would get if sent to psa 🤡 Personally I wouldnt pay any amount of $$ for Jason Paige's autograph, as I wouldnt pay $$ i.e. for Nikki Lauda's autograph. (Back when I was this kid's age I'd probably value that auto more than a base set charizard though 🥲) That doesnt mean there arent people who wouldnt want to take that deal. What ticks me off is that most people that went ballistic towards Jason are the same people who virtue signal about "being all about the hobby, not the money". Brothers, it's cardboard. We assign value to it based on sentimental value, not any kind of hard intristic value. Check yourselves before going apeshit on someone who's making a living on the same business model as a vendor..

The k- drama We Are All Trying Here is a must watch I know some people will watch one episode and call it boring. Because It’s not fast paced. It’s slice of life in the most literal sense people sitting in rooms with their envy, their 20 year old dreams that never launched, their friends who made it while they didn’t. It’s quiet. It’s slow. It lingers on silences. But that’s exactly why it gutted me. Because this show understands the war you don’t talk about. The one where you open Instagram at 2am and feel like a failure. Where you’ve been “trying” for years and the world still doesn’t know your name. Hwang Dong-man, twenty years into film school, still no debut. Byeon Eun-ah, called “The Axe” because she has to kill other people’s dreams for a living. Everyone in this drama is carrying some private worthlessness, some comparison they can’t shake. It’s not entertaining in the way K-dramas usually are. It’s uncomfortable. It holds up a mirror to the parts of you that feel behind, bitter, unseen. But that’s why it’s so relatable. That’s why I think everyone should watch it. On the outside, life looks fine but inside, everyone is struggling in their own way. And I think that’s what makes it so relatable. We spend so much time pretending we’re fine, pretending we’re winning. We Are All Trying Here just. admits it. We’re all scared we’re wasting our lives. We are all anxious. We’re all trying here. And maybe that’s enough to start with. #Wearealltryinghere

I was mocked because I threw a huge party when Arsenal lost the league the first time, mocked again when I continued doing the event the second time we lost. I was mocked even more the third time as my community grew. What people don’t understand is that I built loyal attendees when it was harder to. “People born with a uterus.” That’s the phrase filmmaker Georgie Wileman used in her BAFTA acceptance speech for a film about endometriosis. Endometriosis is a condition of the FEMALE reproductive system, where tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows elsewhere in the body. I don’t have endometriosis. But just last Monday I had a biopsy of my endometrial lining to rule out cancer. Endometrial cancer is one of the most common cancers in women. Breast cancer is the most common - around 99% of cases occur in women. I’ve already had that, which can increase the risk. So this isn’t abstract for me. Clear language matters in women’s health. It matters that women know which diseases affect us. It matters that we recognise symptoms and get changes checked promptly. I haven’t seen the film, so I don’t know how it’s framed. But in the 2-minute clip circulating online, the word “women” doesn’t appear once. In his acceptance speech, Wileman’s co-director Matt Houghton called her ‘brave’. Brave enough to deal with a serious gynae condition - and make a film about it. Just not, it seems, ‘brave’ enough to use the word ‘women’ - to describe a disease that only affects women.

What bothers me most about ashley biden, is that as a little girl, she was subjected to showering with her dad, Joe biden, she then goes on to write that she is ashamed that she was sexually aroused and felt shame because she knew it was wrong.
