Jensen Huang on Elon Musk and xAI building the fastest supercomputer on the planet in 19 days “From the moment of concept to building a massive factory, liquid-cooled, energized, permitted, in the short time that was done. That is superhuman. And as far as I know, there’s only one person in the world who could do that.” Jensen puts the 19 days that it took xAI to build their supercomputer in Memphis into perspective: “What they achieved is singular. It’s never been done before. Just to put it in perspective: 100,000 GPUs is easily the fastest supercomputer on the planet as one cluster. It’s a supercomputer that would take normally three years to plan, then they deliver the equipment, then it takes one year to get it all working.” In other words, this should’ve taken at least four years, but Elon and the xAI team were able to do it in just 19 days. A couple thoughts on this clip (more so the first minute-plus) that was brought to my attention: 1. If this is true — this would be a really tough look on the locker room more than Roy. 2. If it was one or two players, current or former, it’s incredibly soft. 3. The Islanders organization have had and still continue to have former Cup winners around the team a good amount of the time. 4. Why the hell as a current/former player would you not want to get the mindset of someone who’s a multiple Stanley Cup winner and Hall of Famer? That seems totally ridiculous. 5. Roy not bending on how he wants players to play his way or is hard on them I can absolutely see being accurate. #Isles

The Eyre Highway is a 1,664-kilometre (1,034 mi) highway linking Western Australia and South Australia. To complete it in one drive - it would take approximately 12 hours to complete. Can you imagine driving on something that straight and monotonous for 12 hours? Could you do it?
