Massive reticulated python smashes through glass enclosure and escapes while handler is mid-explanation. The keeper was crouched nearby, calmly talking about just how strong male retics can be, when the snake drove its body hard into the panel. Reticulated pythons are among the longest and most powerful snakes on Earth.

bro using regular sheet glass instead of tempered glass for a giant boa tank lmao

At least he was there when it happened rather than coming back to an empty tank and not knowing where the hell it is.

Dude: “That thing will DESTROY the cage.” Python: *breaks the glass* Dude: “HOLY SHIT!!! THAT DID NOT JUST HAPPEN?!?! NO ONE WOULD BELIEVE ME IF I DIDN’T FILM.” 😒

He seems unqualified for this line of work. He needs to call up one of those Southern rednecks that wears bibs and no shirt.

Something wrong with humans who want to play with snakes.

Looks cruel what's going on here. I'm on the snake's side

That's a whole lotta snake and not very much cage.

That enclosure looks too small for a snake that big, in my opinion. Then again, I’d give it a private island biodome on a small moon personally. XD

That python was fed up of all that talk

you can hear the glass hitting the floor ..it's the wrong glass in that tank ..makes me think this is staged for clicks. He knew it would break.

Snake prison

Yea. Such a natural habitat for all those snakes. I’d be pissed, too. Team snake.

Gee the handler has such an amazing grasp on the English language 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

NOPE

I bet he buys better glass next time. LOL

The least believable part is that anyone would use plate glass for a cage.

Nope....

Watch closely. Obvious AI.

😱😱😱

Should be using tempered glass

A friends Burmese did that one day. Almost effortlessly pushed out 1/2” acrylic from a metal frame.

what a drama queen

His enclosures are wrong for that species and not everyone should be able to own one. I had a 10ft long Burmese python and he was super sweet but i still kept in in thick acrylic with multiple strong locks just in case. Retics are the same issue as pitbulls. It takes a high degree of dedication for it to go right but they can be great pets.

😱Should be using acrylic for the enclosures, not glass, is my guess. 🐍

Nightmare fodder!
