well, I have pretty substantial proof now and the fact that I can't get any of the big names in the flat earth community to address it tells me I am probably onto something. I could never get them to address my night sky footage either because it doesn't fit the "it's all helium balloons" narrative. I believe thats partially why the sun is so hot now as well.

I originally thought thats what the anomaly was, but I’m fairly certain It’s the sun now. I’ve recorded well over 100 hours now in the last 2 1/2 years the various types of evidence connected to that anomaly and all sign point of the sun. This is one of the most thorough breakdowns of everything I have found on supernatural cities in the north and I also put together the most complete breakdown on the mapping history of the alleged “terre de iesso”

Here's a copy/paste prompt recipe and vid showing exactly how to ask an LLM for an interactive map with satellite/map layers + a georeferencer that lets you see how old maps correspond with modern geography. Today the computer can’t make good print maps (that's your hill to climb ) but it can, with five bucks and twenty minutes, make good interactive maps. No software/GIS knowledge necessary, you just need a few nouns and an LLM. Scroll to the bottom for the repo/live map if you want those. I'm using Claude Code as an extension in VS Code but you can use the Claude CLI, Cursor, whatever. 1) Let's grab an old cadastral map and see who owned big tracts of a city; I found this an 1854 map of Niagara Falls, NY I found in the Library of Congress: , grabbed the .jp2, saved as a jpg from photoshop. 2) Let's ask Claude Code for a map. You can see exactly what I did in the video but my prompt, sans simple "hey it's busted" debugging, is written out in the following paragraphs. I explain the map-specific nouns in brackets. You can likely dump this whole thing in your LLM window and it'll work; I'd try plan mode + skip permissions. THE PROMPT Make an interactive map with MapLibre GL JS [maplibre is a javascript mapping library, a FOSS version of Mapbox GL JS. This lets us display tiled map data and arbitrary images on the map] Add basemap toggles with Esri satellite, Carto Positron, and OSM [these map layers require no API keys for light usage; Carto Positron is a nice road map layer and OSM is ugly but comprehensive] Add a globe/mercator projection toggle [I think the globe looks better at low zooms] Add a layer panel on the left with visibility checkboxes and delete buttons. Add a search box on the map that flies to results, with deletable pin markers [Makes this easy to get to your area of interest] Include an interactive local georeferencer: drop a JPG, pick ground control points on a zoomable/pannable image viewer, place them on the map, watch it warp with a progress bar centered on the map. [The georeferencer uses math ("affine transform"??) to match points on the old map to points on the new map; generally you click road intersections on the old map, match them on the new map, repeat a dozen times and everything aligns] The georeferenced map overlay defaults to 25% opacity with a slider above the control point list. Interesting times in the maps space, and its exciting there is so much buzz - maps are awesome :) My parents Rakesh and Rashmi Verma pioneered digital mapping in India in 1995, returning from the US after a successful career there with the passion and desire to do something unique for India. Star Fox Battle Mode is already getting called out for only having three maps. The people saying that are the same ones who burn out on every other multiplayer mode once the new map rotation drops. Three maps works here because the matches stay short, the objectives are actually worth fighting over, and there is enough crazy stuff happening that you are constantly battling the level itself as much as the other Arwings. Power-ups appear in risky positions. Environmental pressure changes during the round. One mistimed boost or bad angle through a corridor and the map punishes you before the enemy needs to finish the job. That constant back-and-forth between pilot skill and level hostility is what stops the same three maps from feeling repetitive after dozens of rounds. The Arwing handling underneath all of it is smooth and tight. Boost timing and lock-on precision actually matter instead of just holding forward and hoping. Small adjustments in speed and angle separate the players who are starting to read patterns from the ones still flying in straight lines. It looks sharp in motion too. The HDR makes explosions, laser fire, and environmental effects stay readable even when everything is happening at once. The sound design helps just as much in the chaos. Clear engine roar, distinct lock-on warnings, and impact feedback that cuts through the orchestral score so you can react to what is actually dangerous. The accolades system adds another layer without turning into a grind. It rewards the behaviours that make the mode interesting: smart objective play, power-up denial, aggressive but calculated lines through the map. There are enough unlocks tied to performance that you get steady progression and reasons to keep dropping in. This is the part most people pushing for more maps will not want to admit. In 2026 a lot of competitive modes assume they need constant new content and huge map pools just to hold attention. Star Fox Battle Mode is testing the opposite idea. A small set of dense, hostile playgrounds with short intense rounds and real skill expression can stay fresh longer than another bloated live service shooter that nobody ever truly masters. The map is an opponent here. That single design choice changes how much replayability three maps can actually deliver. What are your thoughts on Star Fox's online Battle Mode? I played Modern Warfare 4 early! Here are my major takeaways and a video showing 4 brand new maps. ✅New campaign sounds like a really fresh approach. South Korea is being invaded by North Korea and it's allies, you play an American solider embedded with South Korean soldiers ✅Guns are fundamentally changing with a new "weapons first technology called Ballistic Authority. Bloom is removed completely. Wherever the barrel/reticle is aiming, that's the trajectory of the bullet, among other big changes to visual feedback, visibility, more realistic weapons handling, etc. ✅12 6v6 maps day one, with a few other maps for larger game modes, plus a new dynamic map for Gunfight modes that changes layout in between rounds ✅Omni-movement is GONE, but mantling, sliding and overall movement is faster and more responsive. You can go into a slide straight from a mantle, you can hang on ledges, shimmy on ledges and peak over with your gun ✅When you max out a gun, you unlock its Apex Attachment. This completely changes how a gun works, or adds a secondary fire. For example, explosive shells for a shotgun, or throwing knives attached to the frame of a rifle, etc. Really cool addition. ✅DMZ IS BACK! But this time, it's a major focus and not a beta. Described as a living sandbox set in a massive conflict zone. Players can negotiate, team up and betray (similar to Arc Raiders) Overall, I think the success of Modern Warfare 4 lives or dies with the new DMZ mode. If this mode is well received, it could bring old players back and introduce non-cod players to the game and has the potential to get Call of Duty in a much better place.

One of the challenges that makes mapping from Second World War unit war diaries particularly difficult is the mapping system itself, specifically the coordinate grids and map projections used at the time. The British relied on several different map projection systems, each built on geodetic datums that were, by modern standards, imprecise. For northwest Europe, the two most relevant are Lambert Zone I, based on the Nouvelle Triangulation Française (NTF) datum and the Clarke 1880 ellipsoid, and Nord de Guerre, an older WWI-era grid based on the Ancienne Triangulation Française (ATF) datum and the Plessis 1817 ellipsoid. By 1944, Nord de Guerre was technically obsolete, but it still appeared as marginal reference ticks on many British-issued map sheets. These datums were derived from earlier triangulation surveys and predated the computational methods that would later allow for globally consistent, satellite-verified reference systems. Geodesy as a discipline was still maturing, and without computers, producing and correcting large-scale surveys was slow, laborious work, made harder by the fact that a war was actively being fought. The practical consequence for a theatre like Normandy was that available map coverage relied on conical projections, specifically Lambert Conformal Conic, rather than the narrower strip-by-strip Transverse Mercator projection that underpins the modern Military Grid Reference System (MGRS). Transverse Mercator projections perform well over narrow north-south bands but distort rapidly as you move east or west. Lambert Conic projections handle wider east-west extents better, which is why they were preferred for covering broad operational theatres. The tradeoff is that both introduce distortion of different kinds depending on where you are on the sheet, and that distortion was baked into every map issued to every unit. Layer on top of that the generalisation inherent in the most commonly available wartime maps, the GSGS 1:100,000 series. At that scale, features must be simplified: roads straightened, villages approximated, contours smoothed and errors compounded. In practice, positional inaccuracy across these sheets typically falls in the range of 100 to 200 metres, with worse outliers possible depending on the area and the source survey data. By modern standards that is significant. GPS-guided munitions rely on sub-metre accuracy, and calling close artillery fire with that margin of error would be genuinely hazardous to friendly troops. In the Second World War, those errors were real and unavoidable, and commanders and surveyors simply had to account for them operationally. When we mapped Project '44, we manually georeferenced each GSGS map sheet and stitched them together, tying the sheets to known, identifiable features on the ground. Done carefully, this process keeps positional accuracy near the lower end of that 100 to 200 metre range, but it cannot push below it. The original datum and projection errors, the generalisation of the source maps, and the inevitable human error in the georeferencing process all combine in ways that cannot be fully eliminated. There is a floor, and that floor is set by the accuracy of the original surveys. Over the last several days I have been working on a new approach to reduce that residual uncertainty and speed up the mapping workflow. It is a system of systems that brings together three reference layers in one interface. The first is the wartime grid systems, specifically the coordinate grids actually used in the war diaries, enabling direct input and plotting of grid references as they appear in the source documents. The second is the georeferenced GSGS basemaps, the original wartime maps georeferenced to a modern coordinate system, so a plotted grid reference can be visually cross-checked against the map the unit itself would have been reading. The third is a modern accurate basemap, a contemporary mapping layer using current satellite-derived data, for ground truth comparison. The idea is convergence across three independent references. Where all three agree, you have high confidence. Where they diverge, a human mapper can apply contextual judgment, drawing on terrain, road networks, and the unit narrative, to make the call on where the position actually was. The goal is faster, more efficient mapping without sacrificing interpretive rigour. Rather than automating the decision, the tool gives the mapper the best possible information to make an informed judgment about where a unit was and what they were doing.

[long, sorry] some updates: The competitive part of Dookey Dash is pretty well cooked and many of you have gotten a chance to playtest the game in some form, either at NFT Paris, in Dubai at Token2049, or as part of our gaming council. THANK YOU for being part of testing and dealing with bugs as we QA the shit out of the game. A not-final build of the game is currently live in the Philippines and Australia for testing. This version is missing a ton of features we’ve been busy building with Faraway, as well as many completed parts of the game that we can’t push live until Season 1 begins. What are we adding? A bunch of things to make the game more casual-friendly. Stuff like: -NEW MAPS: More to explore than just the same 'ol sewer -ARCADE MODE: A new objective-based game mode, with clear conditions for progressing (like "dash through five walls to win," etc). Arcade mode is broken up into levels, and achieving goals gets you progress on the map and onto the next stage. Basically, think Candy Crush. -CHAMPIONSHIP MODE: This is the good old leaderboard-based DDU for hardcore players. -WEEKLY TOURNAMENTS: Compete in weekly tournaments to win boxes featuring new characters, vehicles, banners, etc. Opening up boxes will grant you Dookey Points, which you can spend to spin for a chance at a Golden Plunger – you’ll need a Golden Plunger in order to compete in the $1m esports championship at the end of the season. -DAILY QUESTS: Rotating set of quests with a range of possible rewards It’s a LOT of new upgrades to Dookey Dash, all with the aim of making the game fun for everyone and not just twitchy nerds with fast reflexes. Looking forward to getting my mom to play. All that said, I don’t want to push this sucker live until I feel like we’ve got the best game possible. If you get tired of globers bitching about a model, or sunrise angles, or star trails, or sunlight, or eclipses, anyone can ALWAYS reference THIS MODEL The reason it is called "Shane's Mode;" is strictly so YOU can use it, and I can take all the criticism, insults, ridicule, jokes, attacks, etc. The general idea is that the community gets the considerable benefit of presenting an accurate model and using it to explain several normal phenomena at once. Then, only I get the drawbacks of all that will surely come from it, and everyone else will benefit. I planned it this way, because I largely don't care about what any of the globers piling the hate over here so we can press forward. Or.. you know, f*ck me for saying the word model, and for bendy light or for whatever. If that's the case, no hard feelings. One last thing, the smaller dome in the model simply represents the limit of an observers view, a spherical limit with a radius of 3959. The math that supports that is here... and here. The FULL Description is below, and it is LONG. Sorry. The Model This model does not assume a physical Sun nor Moon which will show a collective convergence for every observer on Earth. It only matches their apparent positions as observed across the plane. The Bislin model acknowledges this and moves all celestial bodies to a nearly infinite distance away. This does nothing more than create a triangle large enough that you can mathematically abstract your way into the inverse of everything you experience. The truth is there is a limit to one's visual space. And this limit is necessarily geometrically spherical. Because one never observes objects in anything but their 'apparent location' within one's personal celestial sphere, there is no need to explain a tiny ball of heat mysteriously powering itself along at 3100 miles above the plane. This is not reality. We feel we only have to model the exact apparent position for each observer. We do not have to provide an explanation for what you think should be required. This model relays the apparent size and positions of Sun, Moon and star constellations. It depicts their paths as well as the day-night terminator. Simply by observing reality and plotting that data on a planar map we demonstrate that the Sun, Moon and stars can move beyond the limit of one's vision and become unresolvable by the naked eye. We show how this can be conflated with the assertion that objects ACTUALLY drop down below the horizon when, in reality, they are only apparently dipping below the horizon when exceed limit of your vision. It is elegantly simple and easy to understand without the bullshit. Sun/Moon tracks: In 24 hours, the fixed stars rotate about 1 degree more than 360 degrees so that, in 365.25 days, the star constellations return to the same place in the sky. This is seen by incrementally advancing DayOfYear (click the field and use Arrow Up or Down). The Dome grid will advance each day by about 1 degree. Advance the time in 24 hours steps and the Sun noticeably moves between the Solstice lines. The Sun will also trace a figure 8. This is caused by the Sun's Ecliptic plane at 23.44 degrees to the orbital plane. The paths of the Sun and Moon are visible against the fixed star background (Dome Grid) by checking the options Sun track and Moon track. For a description of the tracks, click the Eclipses button. They correspond to observable reality. The tracks are derived from the solar and lunar cycles and are absolutely not exclusive to either model. It would be extremely dishonest to claim anything else. Sorry, Walter. Retrograde Motion of the Moon's track: The Sun's path stays fixed on the Dome Grid. But, the Moon's path slowly rotates retrograde against the Dome Grid and rotates one full rotation in 6,798 days. This is due to the oscillation and intersection of the Moon's orbit caused by the distant Sun. Currently, the Moon Ecliptic is such that the path of the Moon extends the path of the Sun, North/South, by about five degrees. Approximately 3,400 days later, the path of the Moon moves inside the path of the Sun by about 5 degrees. This observation is simply translated to the planar model. Eclipses: The intersection points of the Sun and Moon's paths are called Knots. Two Knots are marked by a green dot. If the Sun and Moon are on two opposing Knots, a Lunar Eclipse occurs. The Sun and Moon on the same Knot will result in a Solar Eclipse (play Demo Eclipses from Step 6 on). This Flat Earth model can predict Solar and Lunar Eclipses. It can also absolutely predict the optical effect conflated with the Moon's alleged shadow on Earth during a Solar Eclipses or vice versa. It uses a ratio of the cycle that is based on the radius of a shadow, as postulated by Phillippe de La Hire, in the 1700s. It was first calculated for a Lunar Eclipse. But, the ratio applies to all future eclipses which belong to an appropriate series. This ratio is then applied to the predicted path to dynamically widen or shorten the path in order to accommodate the penumbral and umbral radial intersection as a visible sphere on the plane. We then apply this integer as a scalar to correctly approximate the size of the optical effects conflated with shadows. All of the maps onto which the eclipse can be projected use the same globular coordinate system, unfortunately. Now, it can be shown that heliocentrism cannot predict eclipses at all. They can only interpret the cycle data in the same way the ancients did and apply more refined mathematics. Moon Phases and Orientation: The model shows the Moon phases and the orientation of the Moon with respect to the Observer's horizon. The apparent rotation of the Moon during the day is due to the fact that the camera's up vector remains perpendicular to the surface of Earth while following the path of the Moon. This perfectly matches reality. Equinox: This model produces the correct apparent Sun positions during an Equinox. The Sun rises due East at 6:00 AM and sets due West at 6:00 PM. Poles: This model produces a 24 hour day and night on the North Pole and in Antarctica. Heliocentric Model: Simple observations mathematically translated to this planar projection perfectly map the paths of the Sun, Moon and stars (star trails) as they appear to the Observer inside their personal celestial sphere. As with all other celestial observations, the Equinox, the Solstice Knots and the Day-Night terminator can be derived from basic observation and data applied to the planar projection. No need for baseless assumption. The Heliocentric model utterly fails here. Newton's laws can be reduced to exclude mass and still manage to describe the same periodicity and, thusly, the same relationship. No need for an exclusivity claim here at all, is there, Walter? Shapes on the Dome: The shape of Sun, Moon and star constellations appear on the personal celestial sphere exactly as they do in reality, and when projected onto the globe. Again, because we invoke the same radius to describe the spherical limit of our celestial view, the very same observations become easily explainable when using all of the normal conventions, with no need to invent branches of physics and invert reality. All features of this model are derived only from observations of the sky. Observations of the sky have always been kinematically equivalent - equally applicable to geocentric and heliocentric model. This was rather the point of the invention of Special and General Relativity (nonsense). Problems with the Shane's Flat Earth Model Distances: Many people misunderstand distances on map projections. On the AE map, distances measured in an exactly North-South direction are correct. Other measurements are also proportionately correct. Data translation between projections is tied to the coordinates we use. The longitude and latitude we use in any of the appropriate 200 map projections will ensure the distances between those points remain accounted for, at scale. Please learn how map scaling works if this seems inadequate to you. Only an absolute moron would expect visual distance to be equal in an equal area, or equal distance, cartographic transformation. Right, Walter? Personal Celestial Sphere: The Sun and Moon trace specific paths across the celestial sphere. The paths of the celestial bodies are directly mapped from observation to the planar projection. They also follow the cycle of the Heavens, with no need for gravity, Newton, nor the very lackluster performance of gravity based predictions of systems with 2 or more bodies. It was jaw dropping to see that poor Walter actually wrote that gravity caused this. I assume it was because he knew he would never have to answer any challenges. Show me the math which uses the gravitation from all of the forces Walter listed and I will immediately remove this section. Moon Phases and Field Rotation: Moon phase and apparent orientation, as shown, perfectly represent what every observer on Earth sees, correct to their location. The 15 year solar cycle and the 18 (10/11) month lunar cycle have been understood for so long that people eventually forgot and are now incorrectly perceive their paths. Only in modernity do the vast majority of people wander about under their own personal clock without the ability to read it. How sad. The Day/Night Terminator: The shape that matches reality is a bit peculiar and it changes over the course of a year. The shape not only depends on the location of the Sun but its height and speed as well. Again, we know the Sun circles the plane at a 23.4 degree tilt. And this perfectly defines the terminator line. There is absolutely no reason to invoke bendy light in order to explain any of these observations. The model simply matches what we see. It represents reality. Missing The Third Dimension: We need to correct the inherent misunderstanding in the assumption of the physicality of any 'dome'. Modeled here is a personal celestial sphere. It uses a radius. It just so happens that Shane has been arguing this concept and this radius since the day he showed Walter Bislan's model as evidence, amid the jeers of the uneducated masses. As it turns out, the personal celestial sphere is a visual limit imposed on one's spherical view of the heavens. It most simply describes the particular visible slice of the heavens. And it moves that amount with you where ever you go. This is such an elegant, beautiful explanation to what had been perplexing the flat Earth community for years: how the stars work. The personal celestial sphere, once properly understood, is a perfect explanation for everything we see in the sky. It explains the curved nature of the arcs of summer and winter, the behaviors of the Sun and Moon, as well as the apparent non movement of the static stars in relation to each other. Every single stellar observation is explained as well as, if not better than, any Heliocentric explanation. Any person who incorrectly assumes a visual distance scale also assumes things to be visually identical in size and demonstrates a massive misunderstanding of proper distance scaling inherent in all map projections - particularly in the AE map. It's as if everyone has forgotten that the AE map is equal to the Globe map, which is also equal to 199 other map projections. The choice of projection does not matter. They are all the same. They all represent the same distances. We can make predictions based on cycles as well as the next guy. So, we wont need help there. As we keep saying, every observation in the sky is equal between geocentric and heliocentric perspectives. People seem to be INTENTIONALLY misunderstanding that, at this point. Light-Bending: absolutely not required in any way shape nor form. Observable reality matches the model in every way; I cannot imagine a better fit. To now try to invent a need for bendy light would only publicly highlight the ineptitude of a lower tier glober - and their inability to learn and adapt, a vital skill in these times. Our model perfectly represents azimuth and elevation of every celestial object in its apparent position. This is all that we ever see. There is no need to explain what has never been observed. The visualization of the South Pole in action is actually what brought Shane to the ultimate understanding of the celestial wheels. So, thank you again, Walter! Light Bending Over Night-Shadow: to match the 24 hour Daylight in Antarctica data from the light forms a shape congruent to a coffee cup caustic effect. Shadows Of Eclipses: although this model can predict the date of Eclipses, it was argued that it can be used for nothing else. Please check the provided links to review the absurdity of those claims. Conclusion Some observations, like the positions of the Sun, Moon and Star Constellations as well as Sun/Moon-rise/set can be explained by a Flat Earth Model - if we allow ourselves to adhere to the mathematical principle of equivalence. A circle perpendicular to the Earth-Sun axis in the Sun coordinate system is computed depending on the Sun's position at a point in time relative to the intersection knot of the Equatorial plane of the Earth and the ecliptic plane of the Sun. This is entirely possible in both models. 2. This circle is then transformed to the globe Earth coordinate system. There is no way around using this coordinate system. If the negotiations are successful for the Tuaregs & they receive broad autonomy in the north of Mali & one of the most important internal fronts of the civil war in the country disappears. Which will allow us to further eliminate radical Islamist groups & end the war altogether. However, personally, I would prefer the first option. And here's why. Above, we presented a general map of the large civil war in the territories of 3 countries of the "Russian zone of responsibility" (Mali, Burkina Faso, Niger), which is not 3 separate wars, but 1. On it, we see that in addition to the Tuaregs supporting an independent (or autonomous) Azawad (again, marked in green), the governments of these countries have 2 more important headaches. With which there is simply nothing to negotiate. These are radical Islamists from the Sahelian ISIS (marked in black on the map) and the Malian branch of Al-Qaeda - "Jamaat Nusrat al-Islam wal-Muslimin" (both are considered terrorists in Russia). The latter are marked in white on the map. And it's clear that having militant Tuaregs in the rear, who, moreover, have long wanted to negotiate, is simply stupid. At the same time, it's noteworthy that during the battles of April 25-26 in the Gao and Bourem regions, which were simultaneously attacked from all sides by Islamic radicals, local Tuaregs (marked in yellow on the map) fought alongside the government army and helped repel this attack. That is, the basis for an agreement with the northern Tuaregs is definitely there and today it's just an ideal chance to conclude an agreement and start a joint war against the radicals. Who are enemies to everyone else. And therefore, no one is being polite with them either yesterday or today, and they, taking advantage of the defeat of the day before yesterday, continue to be cleared in as large a number as possible (so that it will be easier to finish them off in the future). It's noteworthy that mercenaries from Ukraine are fighting alongside these terrorists in Africa. Although this doesn't surprise anyone anymore, since the owners of both are the same Anglo-Saxon elites. And Ukrainians and Islamic radicals are just expendable material for them. Such is the situation in Mali now at the end of two days of battles. In fact, if their results are used correctly, it's possible to solve the whole problem once and for all. Highguard impressions after 12+ hours on PS5 Pro. I've read the PC version is unoptimised, so exp there may differ. Included video of a 17 kill match with randoms where I was also explaining mechanics to a new player. + LOVE the integration of mounts. Morphing onto them and rushing through maps is thrilling, fast and fun; can feel like a medieval soldier charging into battle. + Mounted chases and combat is cool. + Weapons feel punchy and general controls are great. Once you get to grips with it, can be so fast and mobile, inc jumping with mounts straight onto zip lines etc. + As I don't have the attention span of a gnat, I enjoy the exploration and looting downtime between rounds/high intensity action heavy moments. Offers a calm before the storm vibe and allows you to enjoy the scale, environments, mounts and art. + Enjoy the fusion of looting, catching/chasing shield breakers and Counter Strike style bomb detonation or defusing. Things get crazier and crazier over a match, and the environment destruction adds strategy and approach variation, allowing you to mould choke points etc. + Solid skill ceiling with a lot of strategy in team play, abilities, map control etc. Those with higher play IQ and the ability to master multiple mechanics simultaneously, will be highly rewarded. + Most of the characters are well balanced, with differing abilities and strategy purpose. + Weapons are generally well balanced. Don't mind not having my weapons of choice. + Cool art direction and sense of scale. At times a bit like a more fantastical AAA Breath of the Wild. + Maps are well designed with great vistas, draw distances, huge towering structures, good choke points and lots of approach points. Also diverse in biome styles; lava, overgrown, desert, snow etc. + Sound design is strong. Foot and mount steps being exaggerated also brings tension and spacial caution. + Skins of weapons, characters etc are varied and high quality. Even free ones. Many aren't just different coloured variants but totally different outfits and weapon models. + With two good teams, the constant back and forth can make for some thrillingly tight, clutch or saved in the last second type moments. + Nice design details; keeping loot on death, each round loot rarity increasing, shield bearer being a beacon, being able to teleport back to base, mount health etc. + Progression so far seems fair, and cosmetics not too excessively priced. + Performance on Pro has been solid, and I've not had a single bug, glitch, matchmaking error etc. - Shielding up your base needs work. Often times not effective enough. - Image quality is pretty poor, especially in motion. - Most randoms don't have a clue what they're doing and many don't have mics, can make things much harder and less exciting, esp when team play is so effective. - Wish the free Battle Pass had more content, or there were more free unlocks. - On some maps loot is too spread out. - When enemy has shield breaker and you die, can sometimes take too long to get back into the thick of it. - Weapons are a bit uninspired. Basically just typical archetypes like revolver, AR, shotgun etc. - Would have liked more weapons and characters, but for launch it's decent. ___ Overall, so far I'm really enjoying it and have actually been quite hooked. I'm not a clairvoyant so can't tell if it'll hold my attention long term (that'll partly depend on post launch support), but initial impressions have been solid. I was highly critical of games like Concord, Redfall etc, but Highguard isn't that, it's far higher quality. Highguard ultimately has aspects from multiple different games I love, so while individually they're not so innovative or unique, having them all combined together with the mount riding, great gunplay, scale etc, to me is fun, engaging and pretty fresh. Still, this is a more methodically paced and playing FPS; those wanting constant shoot shoot bang bang, look elsewhere. #Highguard #PS5 #PS5Pro
