Mateus Fernandes vs Charlton

Passes like eriksen, handles pressure like dembele. Hes the best midfielder spurs have had in years

Way he receives the ball, everything is intentional, range of passing. I love passes when you miss out the man closest to get to the next in space - progress quicker, more intentional. The ball will always be faster than the man. Confirming why I was most excited for this man.

@Salib_C4 We are lucky man

80m side pass back pass machine

He's insanely talented, but also brave and smart. What combination. So excited for him, Tonali, Savio and Marmoush in the same team.

My favorite Summer signing😮‍💨. Worth every bit of that £85m we payed for him. In a few years, we’ll be talking about how much that price was actually a steal for a player of his quality. Can’t think of a single thing he lacks in. Top player

All I’d say is Bergval gets more grace than Sarr does Heck more game time than Sarr does But my eyes don’t lie to me. I’d rather play Sarr in that 10 than Gallagher and Bergval

Class above everyone else on the pitch again. Massive ceiling.

Is there a reason your exclude his failed actions? There was a sequence mid first half where he attempted and failed two passes and looked quite poor, but these aren’t in the clip? 🤔

A great compilation of easy passes 🤣

Nothing special here, just one drive through. Anyone can do those passes

Whoever made this comp has no idea what makes a good footballer. These are standard passes, nothing special. I won't even say Fernandes was not good because I didn't watch that game, but the person who made this does not know what "good" is.

It's just a ton of backwards passing against a mid table championship side 😭

Been watching this for a minute and only seen one forward pass

I’m so moved I can’t lie

£80m for a midfielder to make pass after pass sideways and backwards.

I only kept up with this boring video so I could just enjoy the song. Nothing special was seen here

Found his level, championship where he’s been relegated to back to back 😂🤝

He was passing backwards so much, I thought the match was being played in reverse.

Unbelievable footballer

This is the guy we need.

Nah holy shit what am i watching😭

He found his championship mates

Quality player

Every time I see him play, I think the 85 million will end up looking like a bargain; in the long run, it will be money well spent.

I just hate this era of football. A player is as bad as their last game & as good as their next, depending on which 3 minute comps you see. Meanwhile, people discredit iconic seasons from the past with the number of Xg from one match today. Lazy spectating.

2 minutes of 90% 10 yard passes ? I can do that if you want to pay £0 and pay me £1000 a week 🤣

Never seen so many people clip up a Charlton game

@AlasdairGold probably time to stop talking about Tonali being our ‘metronome’ and controlling the game

Why add the backwards and sideways passes? Never add those in a comp

No way this guy can be better than Santos

He moves like a Professional Dancer.

I don't feel anything missing out on Anderson or Tonali...but I think we're going to regret not signing FERNADES

He will literally become the heart of the team, Tottenham's entire season depends on this jewel.
