.Matt Brown admits he won't be as "harsh" on Din Thomas for his comments on Gillian Robertson after #UFC330: "Coaching is a hard f*cking job. It’s selfless. … It’s very, very easy to turn this into a negative thing. I can empathize with that." (🎥 Damon Martin)

@IamTheImmortal @DamonMartin To be fair, Thomas quit coaching during the fight. He wasn’t interested. Let Gillian down massively. His interests were all for himself from then on and his “apology” was for views. Have the bollocks to do it immediately and actually to the person directly.

@IamTheImmortal @DamonMartin He gets paid to coach, it’s a job, not selfless at all unless he did it for free.

@IamTheImmortal @DamonMartin It's selfless? LOL!

@IamTheImmortal @DamonMartin Din Thomas was talking when his ceiling was lower than Gilians he never even fought for a belt.

@IamTheImmortal @DamonMartin Of course, it’s easy to blame the coach for making the wrong calls. Few people stop to think that coaches go through every hardship with their fighters too — from brutal weight cuts to physical injuries and the emotional toll that comes with them.

@IamTheImmortal @DamonMartin That’s actually a great point. Both veterans and we can’t forget that.

@IamTheImmortal @DamonMartin Coaching is definitely a tough gig, glad to see some empathy being shown
