@luanam465 Germany just replaced a decommissioned nuclear power with renewables in 3 months. It takes at least a decade to build a nuclear plant and it’s uneconomical at $200 kwh compared to renewables @ $40 kwh. It’s like trying to complete in formula one with a tank with plutonium shells

If the LNP started with their nuclear fantasy while in office they could have started the nuclear regulatory approvals process, found some land to build it on, found some land for the waste to go on, got the planning approvals for the use, then waited for 10 yrs to get it built.
