That’s why the strikes happened if streaming is going to replace physical media then streaming companies have to start paying films for the right. Which is why ads are coming back it’s the only profitable system. Subscriptions don’t cover it.

This doesn’t explain why they can’t make just as money selling the movie on iTunes, Netflix, etc as they did selling them on DVD.
