Matt Painter stuck around and thoughtfully answered every question after Purdue's loss to Fairleigh Dickinson. Moderator gave him an out by saying he was taking his last question. He then continued taking questions + answering to make sure media had what it needed. All class.

@Kyle__Boone Love that he’s taking care of the reporters who have been there all season and not letting someone else dictate the end of questions when he knew there were more. All class in a tough ending.

@Kyle__Boone @CBSSportsCBB It’s plain and simple; the BIG10 brand of basketball (especially Purdue’s) needs to evolve. There’s a reason a BIG10 team hasn’t won the tournament in 23 years, they’re stuck in the past. Need to get faster and more athletic.

@Kyle__Boone Matt Painter is a true class act. People obviously have a right to critique his coaching but his stellar character should be appreciated by everyone. I know of many coaches who would be surly/confrontational with the media after a game like this.

@Kyle__Boone I mean…it’s not like he had to go watch game film or game prep

@Kyle__Boone Wins and losses aside. If I had sons that were high major recruits there are a couple guys they would play for and Matt Painter is one. I know when they leave they will be better young men.

@Kyle__Boone Compare this to how Penny acted...now ask who you'd rather send your 18 year old son off to play basketball for.

@Kyle__Boone Always awesome. From the day he took the job has been engaging and thoughtful.

@Kyle__Boone @CBSSportsCBB Matt Painter is a stand up guy. One of the best in the business.

@Kyle__Boone I’ve disliked Purdue my entire life being and IU fan…this dude @CoachPainter makes that very hard!!! Just seems to do everything the right way!! Total class act

@Kyle__Boone Yet not one reporter asked him to clarify how he got outcoached. He said that he got outcoached. Ask him how. Reporters never ask for specifics. Would love to hear from coach in what ways he thinks he got outcoached. Love Paint, but he needs to show improvement too.
