“The most important hire and decision that Matt Rhule made this offseason, really has nothing to do with Mike Ekeler.” “If he told Rob Aurich, ‘You have to make [Mike Ekeler] a position coach as well.’ Enough of that, no, that doesn’t have to happen.” - Sam McKewon Presented by NextGen Male Medical Clinic

Florida Governor's Race: Gov. DeSantis hints he may not give an endorsement during the GOP primary. "I have gotten involved in some primaries, but it’s usually when there’s a candidate that's really speaking my language, that I’m really excited to get behind. And so if that happens, then people will know, if I make that judgement. If it’s not, then, you know, that's just is what it is. You just have to wait and see." "You gotta be right on the policy. There are policies that get proposed, even in a Republican state, that are not good policies and you gotta be able to separate the wheat from the chaff on that."

Malik Willis says Matt LaFleur taught him that great quarterbacking often means not trying to make a play every play, and his Packers’ culture taught him how valuable accountability is to build something sustainable “Matt, obviously is a great dude. He taught me the importance of playing on time, and why you have to stay on schedule more than going out there trying to make a play every time.” “You make a play when you need to make a play. Other than that, you’re trying to just keep it in the road. I think it was just the level of accountability. That was important.” “That’s why I took that with me. Holding yourself accountable more than always having an excuse or blaming it on something. I took that to heart. Obviously when we go to practice, not worrying about the situation I’m in. And more so thinking, how am I getting better today? I'm going against the first string defense, this is who's going to be out there on the field on Sundays.” “So if I could have success versus them, and build that confidence, then I could have success versus anyone. I think that building in general. The guys that they have in there, they’re the right guys. They obviously did what needed to be done to win games.” “Their consistency shows. As far as, you see guys in there on off days. You see guys staying after. You see guys holding themselves accountable. I remember the first practice I had with them. I threw a pass, the guy dropped it, and he said ‘Nah that's on me, that's on me’...” “I'm like, ‘That's what's up.’ To not just gloss over it, and keep it pushing. He wanted me to know that's on him, and it was a good ball. When you got guys that are not just the quarterback, holding themselves accountable, that's how you build something.”

ELON: WE NEED TO SOLVE THE BIRTH RATE ISSUE OR CIVILIZATION WILL DWINDLE TO NOTHING “Sometimes kids are viewed as an imposition on the world. I don't think that's the case at all. People sometimes think there are too many people in the world. That's certainly not the case. You can fit all the humans on Earth on one floor in the city of New York. You fly from LA to New York, there are vast areas of land with no one at all. We want to just generally have it be socially encouraged to have kids. Companies need to support employees that have kids. There should be some tax breaks for having kids or make it financially not burdensome to have children. It's always worth bearing in mind, autonomy aside, if someone doesn't have kids, what you're actually asking is that someone else's kids take care of you when you're old. That doesn't seem quite right. That's what they'll be forced to do, absent automation, is that someone else's kids will have to take care of you when you're old. One way or another, we need to solve this birth rate issue or civilization will dwindle to nothing.” Source: WSJ, May 2023

Kenny Dillingham kept it real with his recruiting mindset: "I'm very big on 'What do you want?' I want people who want to be here. If a kid on our team doesn't want to be here, he shouldn't be here. This isn't a hostage situation, and I don't ever want it to be... My job is to help these guys succeed. If somebody asks me a question, I'm gonna give them the right answer. If that's good for ASU, great. If that's bad for ASU, that sucks. The last thing I want is to trick a kid to stay here... That's how cultures get broken. I want guys who 100% want to be here, and want to become a legend here. Like how (Cam Skattebo's) coming back for the Arizona game. I want guys who are invested in this place and want to be a part of it." SunDevilSource.com

That's NOT HOW IT WORKS." 🔥 "If Muslims don't want to have dogs, that's perfectly fine, but they don't get to tell ME I don't get to have one, and they certainly don't get to tell you in the United States of America that you don't get to have one." "That shouldn't be controversial. The fact that it is tells you how far the Democratic Party has fallen." He nailed it.

Q: The DNC posted in support of Mamdani yesterday...are you out of step with your party on this issue? HAKEEM JEFFRIES: I don't know. I guess people are gonna to have to figure that out, if that's the question you think that my constituents are asking me — because they're not.

🚨 JUST IN: Matt Walsh says he wants the Right to work together and "DESTROY" leftist, anti-West ideology "If you're pushing that, then you're my ENEMY. You are my enemy, and I want to DESTROY your ideology. I want to destroy everything you stand for. That's what I want to do." 🔥 "But if you're against them, and that is to say you stand for American identity and for the sanctity of human life and the family and objective truth and reality, the church, faith - if you're on that side, then I consider you to be basically an ally, and we could disagree vehemently on a lot of other issues." "The divide, I think, ideologically in this country is so vast and so deep and so unbridgeable that we may as well be living in different universes. We may as well be aliens from different galaxies trying to live on a planet together, and it's just not working out. That's what it feels like." "For me, that's where the fight is. Scott on why conviction in an idea is dangerous as an investor but required as a founder: "From the investor seat, I don't think you want to be in love with an idea. That's a risky thing because you'll find a way to express that by investing and make some compromises on the team because you know this idea is just so good, its time has come. But if the team isn't there, 90% of the time it doesn't work. Then there's a whole thing can you swap out the team? But the whole Founders Fund thesis was always no, you need the founder to run the company. But on the company side, you have to be in love with the idea. It's not that rational to start a company. There's a lot easier, more comfortable ways to make money if that's the goal. So it's got to be about what the company is doing specifically. If you want to actually start a company, it better be something that you're really passionate about, or you think that the problem is really important."

🗣️ Mikel Arteta on the possibility of players leaving who have been here a long time: "It's a really, really tough moment, you need to face that reality. But you need to face it with real honesty and transparency because when you are on the other side, that's exactly what you need. "You might not like what you've been told, but if it's truthful, if it's the reality, if it's honest and it's going to help you to make better decisions and have more clarity for the next steps in your career, you have to do that. "These are always very difficult conversations, but they need to be done. It's like when a player doesn't feel that he belongs or he's important, he wants to have a different chapter, I think that communication has to exist and it has to be both ways. "We all know, everything has a start and has an end. When it comes to the end, I think our duty, our responsibility is to do it in the best possible way, maintaining the respect and admiration for the player and the relationship, but understanding that at the end, we need to make football decisions."

REALLY!? You don't have the votes for something that's an 80% issue across this country with Republicans, Democrats, and others?!" "People believe it's reasonable that in order to vote in this country, you must first establish that you are a lawful citizen." "That's number one. Number two, when you show up to vote, you make sure that you identify, you can confirm that you are that citizen who is lawfully right to vote by showing a photo ID. That's an 80% issue." "That is something that is Republican Democrat and other, and they tell us they don't have the votes. Here's the other thing that you got to pay attention to.
